LEGO B-36D MOC . This is my custom LEGO B-36D peacemaker MOC. It uses an estimated 15,000 pieces and has a wing span of almost 6 feet. There are better pictures over on my Flickr account and of course a full video over on my YouTube. . Here is the b-36 in comparison to my MiG-15 and XF-85 goblin. The thing is just massive!! A couple of years ago I built a b-29 superfortress to the same scale and it has been completely dwarfed by the b-36. In this shot I compare the b-36 to the b-29 and my b-52 which is based off of Ralph Savelsberg’s b-52. The b-36 is massive. It has the largest wingspan of any combat aircraft and has 10 engines. 6 R-4360 wasp major piston engines and 4 J47 turbojets mounted in pods under the wing. The saying was six turnin four burnin.
