The Nebula-class Star Corvette was a small starship used primarily to quickly transport a squadron of starfighters through SSF to a target location. They were also used as light support vessels and to coordinate other vessels. When it was created, it was the smallest ship class to contain an SSF gate in the GFAW. From the mini entry: Those who first look at this vessel may be shocked at the limited number of armaments, but trust us when we say that it does not effect performance. This first response vessel can jump into a system, speed into the fray, and unleash an entire squadron of fighters; holding its own until the larger, slower vessels can arrive. This ship's presence alone will deter pirates. And if the vessel your ship comes in to protect is damaged, SSF rated docking clamps will hold ships tight to your vessel so you can tow it back to civilized space. The only question you need to ask is: "How many of these magnificent ships do you want in your fleet?" Had to do hangars in LDD view because lighting didn't work in bbluerender.
