-Narrator, Beyond Botana RPG (Chapter 6: Old Elysium)
Royal Beast Runsas:
Runsas is an abnormally large Elysian Boar and formerly the pet of the Emperor of Old Elysium; while all Elysian Boars were revered as sacred animals, this one was particularly celebrated because of his saliva, which could make steel indestructible when administered. A large and greatly pampered creature, Runsas is restlessly ravenous and not above resorting to cannibalism; he makes up for his stupidity with staggering strength.
Runsas was at first no different from any other Elysian Boar raised in the pastures of the city, with all the comforts to be expected of a sacred animal. However, many believed that Runsas was personally touched by Hashamal, the God of Weapon-Forging himself, as his tusks grew to an unprecedented size; the Elysians would later learn that the beast’s spit could heal wounds and make blades indestructible. As a result, he was adopted as the pet by Emperor Alphinaud and became Elysium’s patron beast. He was canonized as Runsas the Demigod and Son of Hashamal, though in reality he was neither.
While Alphinaud’s pet, Runsas enjoyed a comfortable life of luxury; instead of oats and corn he was fed sugared cakes, seasoned meats and spiced wine; he grew to an enormous size as a result, and it was here that he developed his appetite as a carnivore. He lost out on these luxuries once the Tar ravaged Old Elysium and left him ownerless, after which he remained in Old Elysium as a scavenger; his thick, impenetrable armour protected him from the Tar’s infection. For a while he ransacked the bakeries and butchers for food, slaying any living thing that got in the way; eventually though, the pre-made food began to run out.
The poor, spoilt beast could not go long without food, and resorted to desperate measures: he would eat the living. At first he picked off the surviving Elysians and then, once they were gone, turned to his fellow boars and became a cannibal. This went on for some time, but it had to stop; Runsas was lounging about in his favourite haunt, the courtyard just outside the palace, when a band of Agori crossed paths with him. Frenzied with hunger, the great Boar attacked instantly; though he was powerful, it was Runsas that eventually lost the fight, struck by the blade of Pontel Gunn, who severed his great tusks.
However, the Agori pitied him and decided to heal his wounds, reviving him; they are currently in the process of doing this.
Front view- this build, if you couldn't tell already, was largely built up around the head- it's the main centrepiece of the MOC, and I'm quite proud of it!
Profile- the other thing I'm really proud of is the shin design- it's quite simple, but effective I think.
His lovely, thicc bum- have you ever seen a rump so tasty? :P
"Oi you, stop looking at my bum! Er, I mean- oink!"
Trying to stand upright, bless his little heart.
Height comparison with an Agori build- though the MOC itself isn't too big, you can see why that'd be frightening for an Agori...
...and for a Levahk, too-!
Stood beside the Waiting One, the one other Old Elysium boss so far.
Looks like Onepu found himself a new pet at last!
Going toe to toe with my player character, Merimies!
And that's all, folks! If you're in the RPG, best of luck to ye! -and if you're not, it's never too late to join...!
