*Updated* Ultimate Jungle Adventure built by my 9 year old . **Updated 7-19-18** She didn't win the contest, but she got pictures of her build in the August issue of Blocks Magazine! My 9 year old daughter built her version of an Ultimate Jungle Adventure for a LEGO building contest. Her idea of the perfect adventure is to go into the jungle to see and study the wildlife. . Check out the August issue of Blocks Magazine. I sent a email to the editor of Blocks Magazine with pictures of my kids Ultimate Jungle Adventure builds in response to an article they ran showing jungle building techniques. We don't have a lot of LEGO plant elements, so they had to get creative to have enough plants to make a jungle scene. I got an email back from him telling us to watch for the upcoming issue. Here are the kids holding my e-edition of Blocks Magazine. If you enjoy her work, please hit the link to go to her contest entry page and give her a thumbs up "like" as well as giving her smiley faces on MOCpages. Here is my daughter taking a picture of that lovely parrot. She relies on her experienced jungle guide for navigation. Also on the expedition is plant expert that is investigating a never before seen subject. Too bad plant guy is too busy nerding out on the red bush to notice the where Indiana Jones'adventures finally came to an end. I hope she is smart enough to take pictures of the animals on the far bank from a distance. I don't want her ending up like that fish. She had to find new ways to build plants as our LEGO vegetation supply is limited. The ladder is used to reach the camp site. The old tent is a left over from Indy's final adventure (and its a part from one of the final Indiana Jones LEGO sets as well). My daughter got a bargain on labor by offering to pay the hired help in "all the bananas you can pick." Why is the hired help chasing a monkey you ask? "Get back here, you have 33.3% of my pay for this gig!" The monkey makes good his escape!
