Incom Z-95 Headhunter . The spiritual and literal predecessor to the mighty X-Wing. . The Z-95 is a ship that should be familiar to any who is a fan of some of the Star Wars Extended Universe lore. It was built by Incom in the years before and during the Clone Wars and it's sturdy and reliable design insured that it would see use well beyond that conflict's end. Right away the similarities between the Z-95 and the X-Wing are very apparent. Most models feature 4 engines and a long nose and fuselage. In fact, from a distance, a Headhunter is almost indistinguishable from an X-Wing with it's s-foils closed. Headhunters became very popular after the Clone Wars with pirates, bounty hunters, and mercenaries; really anyone who need a reliable fighter that was very accepting of being modified well beyond its factory specifications. The version seen here is meant to be a standard or "stock" model, with little or no modifications. Thanks for looking and may the Force be with you!
