10/28/13 Active Shooter Call . *Radio Chatter* - 1-Alpha-101, 1-Alpha-110, active shooter, code 3, Forestview Road, 63, 16:32. - . At 4:32 PM today, 1-Alpha-101 and 1-Alpha-110 were called to an active shooter. 1-Alpha-110 arrived on scene first and saw a man with a large handgun hiding behind a sport bike. He was not willing to communicate with the deputy. Sheriff Brown showed up, and he tried to talk to the subject. He still would not talk and fired three potshots at the sheriff. The deputy then called a shots fired with a Code 11, or SWAT Call Up. The ERT arrived and mobilized, which convinced the suspect into surrendering. He was detained, and transported to Brickford County Correctional Facility. When interviewed, the suspect waived his rights and said he wanted to murder a specific person driving by, and he had planned it with someone. Look forward to the raid on the accomplice! The subject. 1-Alpha-110 arriving on scene. Deputy Green in position. Sheriff Brown arrives. Both units in position. ERT mobilizes, with a sniper inside the truck. The suspect surrenders. The apprehension, detainment, and transport of the suspect. Everybody lived happily ever after! Well, except for the subject...
