Over a deep abyss by a vast bridge of iron . Long ways to go yet - Vol. IV. . I thought it was time to share my recent progress on BD with you! Let's start: At the beginning of the Base section progress was the big, part eating, black frame. I was then able to complete the first wall ring, which you'll see in the next pictures. Followed by connecting the rockwork on the already existing base part with new rockwork on the frame. Rockworking ... ... again ... ... and again ... ... and again ... After defining the outer rockwork-wall of the abyss, the plating for landscaping was on my list. Completing the bridge and gateway / gatehouse and one side of the lava-aqueduct. BIG JUMP: Work on the second wall ring. Made a mistake here - had to do the underground plate a few studs longer... Experiments, how to set up the second wall exactly here and there. Next jump - wall finished! And one more BIG (really big) JUMP: First side of the landscape done, lava aqueduct finished, third wall ring done to 75% as well. And I've already done the two outer towers on the left and right side of the wall. They were really parts/tiles-eater... *sigh* last but not least: a quick cut-and-paste-comparison between the outer towers of the '11 version and the actual '13 one. Till next time, followers of the Dark Tower! - K.
