Legendary G-6155 Interceptor… or just a copy of Mercedes C111?
About this creation
That's my next rare and unknown car: Isdera Imperator 108i. Not familiar?
What about Mercedes-Benz C111? Yeah, the Imperator was pretty much a translation of C111's style into 80's shapes and it is a very good one!
You may also know the Imperator from Spy Hunter arcade cabinet - although the in-game car wasn't really an Isdera, the cover art one is 108i for sure.
Front. But, what's more interesting, next to the car is one of my "Great Ideas That Somehow Don't Quite Work" - more "realistic" looking minifig. With tooth plates as boots it looks more cartoonish than realistic. Still, the normal minifig looks like a child!
Some side: this thing on the roof is a periscope, I think it's a sort of rear view mirror.
Back. Mercedes' tailights and... no exhaust pipes? And a hole?
Wait... Look at the bird-eye photo.
What does the hole do?
Insert sort of little closing plastic bag, you know what I mean, with water or small plates...
And the baddies crash because of the "oil" puddles!
Sadly, because of this gadget, there's no engine...
But what about the baddies in front of you?
The rocket launcher is ready.
Exhaust pipe... or the flame thrower? Let the fire bricks decide!
The periscope! Such cool!
Interior. There's even a classic, big red button with "DO NOT TOUCH" text. Well...
My first car with pedals!
The feeling when you invent new minifig legs type only for your car and only standard minifig fits in...
Disappointing. Let's move to the instructions!
On the secret mission in storage room super secret nuclear baddies' base...
