This is my custom LEGO Pan Am 707-120 jet. This model took about three months to design and build and shares many traits with the 737. If you want this to become a set this has been uploaded to LEGO ides because I want everybody to be able to enjoy my models and LEGO Ideas seems like the best way to do it.
The 707-120 was the first version of the 707 and took its first flight on December 20th 1957. This model of the 707 used Prat and Whitney JT-3C turbojet engines mounted in pods under the wing. Pan Am was one of the very first customers to use the 707 and had its first commercial flight in October of 1958. The 707 was revolutionary for its time and modern day airliners still use many of the same design traits that the 707 pioneered. Later there would be stretched versions of the 707 such as the 707-320 and later a shortened long range variant the 720 was introduced in 1960.
This model features an easy to access full interior with a cockpit, galley, lavatories, storage area and more! This model also has a retractable undercarriage just like the actual aircraft. To facilitate transport this plane breakers down into portable sections for storage and transport.
Hopefully you find this model interesting and hopefully it can reach 10k supporters!! For more information you can go to my main YouTube channel “BigPlanes”.
