Kiai Condor
My entry for round two of the Tri-phibian Tournament of Land, Air, and Sea (yeah, I'm really cutting it close :P)
About this creation
I recently bought a bag of different mata red and metru red Bionicle pieces, so I decided to use some of them for my round two entry.

The Kiai (pronounced Key-eye) Condor is one of many flying rahi that are native to Vaha Nui. Kiai Condors are scavengers, with abilities similar to that of the Great Mask of Scavenging, and they are known for the extreme levels of endurance. Some Matoran have even domesticated Kiai Condors, using them to deliver massages to far away villages.

Here's the Kiai with his wings spread out. I honestly have no idea where those wings came from, but I just had to use them :P

A basic side view.

Here are my two current entries for the contest.

And finally, here's a size comparison with Gali Mata.

Sorry about the lack of pictures. I might add some more later.

Thanks for viewing!

A pretty nice build, although I agree with Torp about the head, mostly because it needs more mass to the actual head bit, since currently it's primarily beak. But it looks quite nice, although I can't think of a whole lot to say. :P

Quoting Shining TORPedo Again, people out here nailing that G1 feel. I'm not a fan of the head, but the added eyes do make it better. I like the blade pieces by the shoulders, brings to mind a sleek, Pokemon version of a griffon vulture's neck ruff. I have a couple of those red pieces from a second hand store, for being in only one set there sure seem to be a lot of them floating around.
Thanks! Yeah, I'm not really fond of the head design either, but that's all I could think of at the time.

Quoting Juppiter Augustus Furnus (JimiFurno) They don't come from the Axelera T9. This appears to be the only set with those parts in red. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=7701-1#T=S&O={%22iconly%22:0}
Thanks for clearing that up!

Quoting Runkbolt 12 Cool. The wings would probably be from the Axalara.
Thank you!

Quoting Wolf Pack Nice! I already like it because of the color scheme, but it's a nice build too. :P
Thanks!

Quoting Silverwing 05 Great! I won't be able to enter round two, so best of luck to those who did! (edit: Haha, both of our custom islands start with a V xD)
Thanks!
