WWI - Sea MOC
About this creation
Hey everyone! Here is the sixth MOC in my military history series. This is the third of four WWI builds, and it focuses on a crashed seaplane, presumably not too far from shore. Maybe it was shot down as it was surveying the coastline, or maybe it ran out of fuel just before reaching land, or maybe something totally different happened, but either way this seaplane was forced to make an emergency landing in coastal waters. The crew members survived, but they are struggling to fight off sharks that have been attracted by the wounded pilot and gunner. On to the picture descriptions:

At the front of the MOC, you can see the gunner desperately trying to fend off a shark with the plane's Lewis gun, while the pilot has gotten onto the sandbar and pulled out his pistol so that he can defend himself from another shark.

Over on the right side, the side of the plane is more visible, and you can still see the gunner firing at one of the sharks.

On the left side, you can see the pilot trying to get to the middle of the sandbar while firing at the second shark.

At the back of the MOC, you can see the aquatic plants that were picked up by the seaplane as it crashed, as well as a few of the items it was carrying and several pieces of debris mixed in with the choppy waves.

That's all for this one! I hope to post the final WWI MOC next weekend, so stay tuned.

Hope you like it! Please tell me what you think in the comments!

Quoting AxuBuilder _ Nice work with the plane! I agree with Promar about some of the colors but this is still an amazing MOC! Keep up the great work! :)
Thanks! :D

Quoting Promar Quadratus Nice one (yet again), Craniac! I'm lovin' the series :D The main picture definitely captured my attention, as it has on your last several builds; I love the action going on in this scene. Great job with the wreckage and use of those super-cool minifigs. The different colored pieces create a slightly chaotic visual scene that distracts somewhat from the main focus, but I understand that sometimes you've gotta make do with what you've got. Well done and God bless! ~Promar~
Thank you! Yeah, I'd say this might be the most visually chaotic of the series.

Quoting Runkbolt 12 Cool!, If you're looking for ideas for a moc, I say do the aftermath of either the Nagasaki or Hiroshima bombing. (Like a deserted nuked town)
Thanks! That's a good idea. I'll think about it.

Quoting Wolf Pack The idea of a downed plane fending off killer sharks is a bit ridiculous, but this is executed very well. The water filled with debris looks great, and the plane does too. Great work!
Well I drew some inspiration from some of the ships that were sunk and their crew members were attacked by sharks, notably the USS Indianapolis in WWII, but yeah I certainly still took some creative liberties here. :P
