Hello fellow Lego enthusiasts!
This build has been in the works off and on since Christmas. It all started with the reactor structure in the middle and creating a large circular column-like form. It progressed into a full-blown use of those big white pieces (bet you've never seen those before ;) ) and then I added the finishing touch: Two cool dudes duking it out.
Gotta love them explosions ;) No way was I going to post this thing without something cool like that.
Chris though that those ski/snowshoe pieces would work great for a new jetpack. He's still alive, so apparently it worked out for him.
Honestly, this guy is just too cool... ;)
The base was something new that I hadn't really tried before. It's made up of three main sections that key into each other. The finished product is smooth, yet not constrained to the typical grid. Of course, with a reactor like that, you can go off grid anyway. ;)
The balance and support of these extensions was a bit tricky, but I eventually figured it out after about six different options. And yes, I did utilize a flashlight to illuminate the transy blue pieces.
That's all I've got time for today. Though I will say that I've joined this group , so expect more builds from me in the near future.
Thanks all! I appreciate y'alls stopping by and leaving feedback :)
Just did a tally on the builds that I've posted thus far on the Pages and realized that this is the 200th to date. Wow, and that's over the course of 4.5 years...
Thanks for supporting me! God bless, ~Promar~
Neato! For some reason I get a Space Police vibe here... The brickbuilt effects look great, too, and that's an interesting wing pack design (mind if I try it out?). You got the SNOT flooring spot-on, too.
