The two main reasons this took so long were my procrastination in general and the lack of pieces (the latter of which was rectified in January).

Got 6 "Bumble Bee" Dive Bombers, and 6 "Beetle" Fighters/Ground Attack aircraft.
Scale: 1 stud = 11 feet.
The elevator is large enough to hold at least one of either vehicle.
I, uh, did not do a good job building this; I basically built it from the top down.
(other than the superstructure, which was one of the last additions).
Anyway, there's about 2 bricks of clearance in the hangar, which is a little more than enough height-wise.
It weighs several pounds, unsurprisingly.
1) Your aircraft carrier must exceed 60 studs in length. Antennas, flags, or other bare minimum geometry extending from the front or back will not be counted in this length, per DAS discretion.
2) Your aircraft carrier requires a moving elevator and a hangar deck beneath the main flight deck. You must photograph the elevator in 2 positions to prove it moves. How you access the hangar is up to you. Removable flight deck pieces, modular construction or an opening side wall are all acceptable options.
3) Create at least 12 micro-fighter airborne vehicles of some style (e.g. STOVL, jet, helicopter). There must be space on the main flight deck for all 12 micros, the hangar deck must be able to hold at least 5 and the elevator at least 1. Be sure to show this clearly in your pictures. If they have wings, the wings can fold for more efficient storage. For your fighters to be approved, you need to declare a scale in your write-up (either studs to feet or studs to meters).
4) Build a multi-level superstructure on your aircraft carrier. You must show a labeled shot (exterior or cutaway interior) that includes the following levels: primary flight control, bridge, and flight deck control. These "levels" can be fully furnished or simply windows on the side of your superstructure, but they must be distinct and obvious. On top of the bridge you must have at least 3 distinct communications arrays, antennas, or dishes. You are encouraged to do your own research for added realism and to better understand these specs.
