The Aquarium
My largest creation ever, this massive building houses a restaurant, penguins, sharks, fish and more!
About this creation
Hey y'all. Finally you get to see my BIGGEST CREATION EVER!!

But seriously, it is. Just so you know, it's a public aquarium with a lot of features. Took me a few months to build. Anyway, here it is:

Back view:

Dolphin pool:

Right side view

Next is the main floor, the largest (obviously) floor. It has an entrance area with a ticket office and a decorative waterfall, a gift shop, a penguin exhibit, a shark tank with a curved glass viewing area, a play area and the Pièce de résistance, the coral reef!

Then comes the second floor with a opening to see the reef from above, public washrooms, and a restaurant.

And last of all: the roof.

Made with countless pieces, such a monstrosity is uncommon for me. So why did I build it? Well, to answer that, I would have to go back to when I bought Ninjago City. As I began destroying it I was looking at pieces like the puffer-fish balloon and the curved window and thinking: "I could make an Aquarium". Ironically, I never used those pieces.

By the time I got the walls up, it was too late to turn back so I worked on it for months, abandoning some plans and birthing new ones. I also, for the first time, ordered parts via bricklink and LEGO directly, specifically for a build. It also called for a new photo location and process which was quite frustrating. Somethings were planned from the start, like the reef and the shark statue, and others were spur of the moment like the waterfall and the dolphin pool and the garden shed, and the tops of the walls that look like icebergs. So lots of spur of the moment...

As always, I hope you enjoy. If you love it you can share with your friends if you want. ;)
God Bless!!

That's indeed a wonderful detailed MOC! Something to be proud of! just one question...Do you have any bricks left for another creation?

Quoting Promar Quadratus Beautiful work here, Winn! Glad to see that you're still alive and brickin'. Not sure what's up with the lady in picture #8 (knocked dead by the coolness of the build perhaps?), but I really like the level of detail and animation that you've built into this creation. I especially salute you for the overall smoothness of the build and the maintaining of specific colors throughout. I don't have anywhere near the number of pieces required to do that, which is why I typically keep my creation size to a minimum. God bless and keep on brickin'! ~Promar~
Thanks Promar! Yeah, the inactivity has been mostly due to this. And the smoothness is just from keeping the small things consistent. Same benches, one or two of the main colours, and then keep stuff together in the same area. God bless you too, and I most certainly will. I have the hang of MOC pages now so more will come yet

Quoting Craniac 809 I agree with Shok, this is one of the best MOCs (at least of a building) that I have ever seen. The details are amazing, and the size of the entire build is just incredible. I, too, am curious about the lady though... She probably just fainted when she realized that she was in such a fantastic creation. :P
Thanks Craniac! The lady actually fainted very inconveniently before I took the pictures. It's hard to keep track of all the people. I think she's camera shy.
