Nakyta; The Raging River
This is the water toa I showed in a previous post. Nakyta will become a more relevant character in a future series I've started writing called Elite. Sorry I haven't been too active lately, I'm working on a mech factory for a local lego contest. I may post it here when the contest is done.
About this creation
Name: Nakyta (Nah-Keeta)
Title: The Raging River
Gender: Female
Species: Toa
Element: Water
Kanohi: Faxon, mask of kindred
Alignment: Good, Brotherhood of Makuta (formerly), The Toa Resistance (currently)
Status: Alive
Moc status: Built
Bio: Nakyta was a close friend from Runkís childhood. She is a natural leader but can also be as unpredictable as a river. One moment she could be a steady stream, and the next, a rushing rapid inevitably leading to a deadly waterfall.

Xerox came across her when she was young and took her to be trained at the Makuta Compound. This is where she would grow up to become a capable Toa team leader.

This character will be further developed in the upcoming series Elite.

I present Nakyta! My first female bionicle moc. Her weapon is a sort of scythed spear.

Back view. Here you can see her daggers hanging from her waist.

Closeup. I used two rurus for the chestplate and I think it worked well. [edit] IT DIDN'T.

Some dorsal fins that can be attached for a more watery appearance. Made from a broken Piraka spine.

Front view with the fins. They attach to the exposed pins on Nakyta's legs.

The sneak peek from the last post was actually the back armour for this moc.

Runk and Nakyta teaming up.

Thanks for viewing, please comment on how you think this turned out.

Quoting TheTracer . Seems like you maybe went a little bit overboard on the chest XD but it's not too bad. I think there are better ways to make it clearer that she's female though, such as less width in the shoulders, and maybe thinner arms or something.
Lol. I'll be trying that out in a v2.

Quoting Silver Sword05 While, admittedly, it isn't your best MOC, I don't think it's as bad as Omf makes it sound...
Thanks.

Quoting Juppiter Augustus Furnus (JimiFurno) I'm kinda with ducky, although I understand how hard it can be to build female MOCs. The lower torso looks nice though.
Quoting Duck Patť Iíll be honest, I donít really care for this one... itís a great character with a lot of potential but I just feel like it couldíve been built a lot better... the lower torso gives no sort of transition into the upper torso, the chestplate is disproportionately large, and the ruru on the back is pretty awkward... the color scheme and concept are nice, the build just isnít well executed. I hope I didnít come across as rude, as I had no intention of doing so.
I understand your perspective and I agree with you about the disproportions. It's difficult though when building feminine mocs and being able to get the point across without going over the top. A version 2 seems called for. I will try to fix the moc following your guys' critiques.
