It's my 6-wide car.
It's my first 6-wide in real bricks!
I've got Lego City Police Chase set, that new one with helicopter, Testarossa and unrecognizeable random bricky supercar.
But its back look like a Mclaren MP4-12C.
I've already made a mod of it in Stud.io.
But some day while watching Top Gear's MP4-12C (according to Jezza it's named after fax) test, I had an idea:
"Why don't I build one in real Legos?"
So, here is the result:
Front. Exactly the same as the digital version.
But with two-tone painting and my signature green background it looks better.
It's blocky, but it's my first real 6-wide!
I made a lot of them on my computer, but it make one Stud.io's render in about 3 hours.
So now you know why they aren't on MOCpages yet.
Side. The air intake built just like my Chiron's side.
Back. New slopes look nice here.
Look at tinted taillights.
Free wallpaper for you, mates.
So, now the instructions.
And the Stig!
Some say that he prefers this Spider version over the Coupe because he can fit his helmet there...
And it's true!
To drive it you have to be bald millionaire.
Replacing roof piece for simple tile was good, but now it can't fit a minifig.
But hopefully with Speed Champions windscreen you can easily remove roof and enjoy fresh air, wind in your hair and... your head.
