At 11:18 AM firefighters in Division 5 were dispatched to 316 Stanley Place in Carlton Hill for a working house fire. Crews found heavy fire on the first floor upon arrival. Multiple hoses were placed in operation and quickly doused the flames. Within 20 minutes of arrival, all visible fire was knocked down. Luckily flames did not extend up into the second floor and were contained to the first floor. Firefighters were able to determine the cause to be electrical. The incident was held to an All Hands assignment bringing Engines 72, 5, 30, 37, Trucks 5, 37, Rescue 5, Air 5, RAC 5, Battalions 24, 23 and Division 5. No firefighters or residents were injured at this incident.
