The Last Voyage Of The HMS Harryhausen
My little tribute to Mr. Raymond Frederick „Ray“ Harryhausen (* 29. Juni 1920 in Los Angeles; † 7. Mai 2013 in London), an American-British artist, designer, visual effects creator, writer and producer: Master of Stop- Motion! Without his work so many modern movies wouldn't be there or not as fantastic as they are...
About this creation
It's a combination of two tablescarps from the last months...

Enjoy and have FUN!

Quoting Nick Barrett Gorgeous little ship - what a way to go!
Haha, minimalismism 's not the worst sometimes... ;) And if d00m needs to be showed, than please in microscale! Thanks very much, Nick!

Hey Doug, thanks very much! Some dramatic scenes beyond DA3 could be nice, I thought... ;)

Quoting Gabor Pauler Nice impression of sailship in such a small scale. For me it was more hard story than the dragon. You are Renoir of Lego bricks.
You try causing me to blush, Gabor! Achieved... ;) Thanks so much for your very kind comment! Even I don't feel like a Renoir, I allways try to give the bricks some color...

Quoting Sam Sanister Bit of a departure from your recent work, but still your own style. Reminds me of LukeClarenceVan's Guardian of the Emerald.
Haha, I'm not commited to a genre: And I allways try to do my own stuff, so here! And Luke did a wonderful job! Thanks very much, Sam!

Quoting Clayton Marchetti I would take the cheesiest stop animation over the best CGI any time. 10000 B.C. dinosaurs were awesome. I loved Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers with the spaceships sliding down a wire with a sparkler in it’s tail . This is a masterfully done tribute. Excellent job! Love the ship.
Haha, an expert here! Thanks a lot, my friend! It's so nice to see s.o. knowing these movies! But don't forget the one: "The 7th Voyage of Sinbad" from '58 ! For me it's the ultimate stopmotion- movie and a highlight of my youth! ;)
