And here we are with another advertisement for Hollow Knight.
Grimm is a DLC boss; beating him does not affect the story, but he does provide some lore.
About this creation
https://youtu.be/qmsjvBivRkU Here's his theme music, it's just as intense as the fight against him.
He was DQ'd for not wearing a helmet, so I built a very form-fitting one.
I removed a few non-essential pieces from the back of the head, and also slightly changed the forearm capes.
I tried going for a dynamic pose, similar to this one.
I will say, he has a fairly simple design without the cape/cloak.
"Does your character look too simple? Add a cape!"
Also this pose, which is at the start of the fight.
Bit of the cape attached to his back- 11
Base-7 (don't think it'd count, but I'm counting it anyway)
Head- 61. Seriously, over 1/4 of the piece limit was just spent on making his head.
I also didn't know if the hinge brick counted as 1 or two pieces, so I counted it as 2.
Piece total- 192 (or 185 if you don't count the base)
Ever the showman.
Anyway, here's an in-game short poem about Grimm and his troupe, one of 6.
When I say short, I mean "a couple sentences" or "a few lines" short. They're still good, though.
Shadows dream of endless fire
Flames devour and embers swoop
