Its time to defend the gates of Wakanda from Thanos and his alien horde. I saw an online challenge to build your own Infinity Wars defense of Wakanda and built this while waiting to go to see the movie.
About this creation
Black Panther: "Captain Rodgers, sensors have indicated and alien invasion force headed for Wakanda."
Black Panther: "We must defend the kingdom at all costs."
Black Panther: "There are powerful secrets hidden beyond these gates that must remain hidden."
Captain America: "Panther, I will rally the troops but we are vastly outnumbered and outgunned."
Captain America: "Do you have any of those mysterious secrets hidden in your mountain that could help the defense?"
Black Panther: "Why yes Captian Rodgers, we do. Perhaps the best way to fight an alien horde is with an alien of our own?"
Black Panther: "RELEASE THE BEAST!"
Captain America: "Are you SERIOUS?!?!?"
Black Panther: "Yes Captain, I am quite serious. We will see how the invaders forces compare to the power and fury that is Venom!"
Captain America: "I wish you would have discussed your plan before you initiated your plan!"
Black Panther: "Captain, I more than happy to discuss my plan while we are moving out of Venom's way as quickly as possible!"
This design was inspired by the official LEGO set that had Black Panther defend the walls of Wakanda. I used the same colors in my build of black, dark purple and gold. I went with a more comic book/cartoon theme for the wall. I had some parts I had never used in my black parts bin. I found a near useless Nexo Knights shield that I turned in to the Panther head used to decorate the front gate. I also had two A-frames that are seldom used, and turned them into the seal of Wakanda. I borrowed Cap and Panther from my son, although Cap needed my Han Solo hair element as he is not wearing his mask in the trailer for the movie. Venom is a custom big fig that I bought from a guy that 3D printed him.
