What? A creation based on a real car, by me? What year is it?!
I indeed sincerely apologize for a complete loss of activity. First of all: the majority of activity happens on my Flickr page, be sure to follow that to keep track of my activity, LEGO or non-LEGO (quite a lot of non-LEGO lately tho)
I actually had to dig to find my latest "real-life creation". It's a Colonia Truck which isn't even 100% finished. Date: September 23rd, 2017. Oops!
Anyway, let's enjoy the fact that there is a real life creation now. I built an Audi diffuser for randoms to then discover it looked quite like the RS 4's diffuser. I decided to build on, could get relatively satisfied with an entire car. Okay, there are some flaws, such as some illegal connections (the headlights and Audi logo for example), but less than I intended to (the rest would all be possible in real life, fact). It's a little rough and overdesigned in some areas and I couldn't get every surface to be studless. However, I think it's a nice way to start *blushes* 2018. And I really like the car, which is a thing.
Hope you like it too, regardless of the hmeh'ish I have of it in some areas. I like it overall. And I had to finish something.
The rear is fine imho, the C-Pillars are a little rough. The angle in the roofline is inspired by the crazy angles on Sam the First's Audi RS 6.
Everything opens, including the SNOT doors with door interior which I borrowed from the Dodge Hellcat I built at the start of 2017. The gap between the seat and the rear door is too small, but hey.
Interior, with double screen setup (I improvised with stickers to make it look half decent on the render) and 5 seats. Bit cramped, the door meant I had less room for seats than usual.
Ah, them seats. New pieces came out handy here.
That other 2.9 liter V6 powered midsize sedan/estate. Actually that was also a "let's try" so they're quite alike.
