Ground Attack Aircraft Fyrdraca
Some of the more reactionary elements in the New Saxon Kingdom consider mechanical flight to be an abomination. However, the need for close air support in modern combat required some type of aircraft to be developed. Several horrific genetic engineering experiments later, their new biological air platform was born; a fire-drake cleverly named the "Ground Attack Aircraft".
About this creation
The craft's thrust and lift is provided by movable organic wings which allow incredible control and speed.

The primary weapon system is the creature's devastating fire-breathing capability, able to make short work of infantry, support vehicles, and buildings alike. Note also the air intake on top of the head, to allow continuous flame-throwing.

Its razor sharp teeth are its secondary close quarters anti-personel weapon.

The tertiary weapon is the tail minigun. What, did you think this was the Middle Ages or something?

The Ground Attack Aircraft fyrdraca is operated by two pilots: one forward facing who "controls" the creature using reins, and one rear facing who operates the minigun and serves as navigator and communicator. This is one of the most highly sought after positions in the New Saxon military, though it has an astoundingly high mortality rate due to unruly Aircraft.

______________

Well, I wasn't really intending to do any of the more off-the-wall interpretations, but once I had the idea for this and saw how "well" it fit the specs, I couldn't resist. :-)

Truer words were never spoken.
Quoting Mark B. Well, this may be the most unique "aircraft" posted so far. The shot with the primary weapon system "in action" is great stuff. Very creative!
Probably, for better or for worse. ;-) Thanks!
Quoting VAkkron ™ Well, you're right, this does fit the specs. The only thing it doesn't quite match up with is the word "aircraft"... but I'll give that to you. Now there are officially dragons in the skies of DA3, congratulations. You are approved.
Yeah, that was the word at issue. ;-) Thanks for the approval!
Quoting Zach Sweigart Doesn’t get more heavy metal than a fire breathing dragon with a mini gun attached to it. Awesome work.
No it doesn't. Thanks!
Quoting Patrick Boyle Well, that certainly pushes the Spec in every way possible! Great job!
Thank you! I forgot to mention that your turtle PT boat was something of an inspiration for this.
Quoting P. Andrei Nice, great idea about covering the specs, especially moving wings.

Quoting Seaman SPb Flying attack dragon! Very creative!

Quoting Sam Sanister I'd probably risk life and limb as well, if it meant riding a Drago*cough* Ground Attack Aircraft.
