About this creation
This is for the game DA3. Please check out the group here and leave a rating on this creation (or my other DA3 creations, for that matter) that would be really cool of you!
A PT boat is a relatively small and fast naval ship designed to carry torpedoes into battle. They were created to counter battleships and other slow and heavily armed ships by using speed, agility. A number of inexpensive torpedo boats attacking en masse can overwhelm a larger ship's ability to fight them off and an inexpensive fleet of torpedo boats could pose a threat to much larger and more expensive fleets of capital ships, albeit only in the coastal areas to which their small size and limited fuel load restricted them.
Your PT Boat must comply with the following 4 SPECs:
1. Your PT Boat must be minifig scale with a minimum length of 30 studs. All other dimensions to be decided by the player.
2. Your PT Boat must include a crew of 4 (Captain, Gunner, Engineer, Seaman). The type of minifig is left up to the player: alien, undead, robot, human, etc. but each character must be identified in the write-up for your MOC.
3. Your PT Boat must be shown in water, the design or style of water to be decided by the player.
4. Your PT Boat must feature at minimum of 4 torpedo tubes and at least one of the tubes must be shown firing a torpedo. It must also include a secondary weapon of the player's choice.
With Ogrch Tec's new Affluent-class Torpedo/Patrol boat, the Democratic People's Republic of Not an Oligarchy will be able to rule the seas. Fast, sleek, and well armed the Affluent-class should strike fear into the hearts of enemies. Not citizens though. Our good, gracious, benevolent government would never turn it's military on it's citizens and rule by fear. Also I am not being held at gunpoint while writing this in the Ministry of Propaganda office.
Here you van see another angle of the ship, better displaying the launching Torpedo and the secondary turret, fulfilling SPEC #4. Additionally you can see the seaman, Carson Digger, on the upper deck, fiddling with some control panel that has no real purpose.
Here is the Captain of the ship, Captain Martin R Jones, who is not a pirate. Behind him is his first mate and gunner, Synthia Baker.
And here one can see the engineer, T0dd Not-A-Robot, who is not a surveillance robot, as he is a human being.
Here you can see the full crew on the upper deck, fulfilling SPEC #2. SPEC #1 is fulfilled, I think you could easily see it in the main photo. If it is not clear I can upload an image of it next to a measurement system, but I will say that the base of it is made of 5 45 degree 6 x 4 double inverted slopes, a few 45 degree 2 x 2 inverted slopes, and a 6 x 10 slope curved inverted, making it a little over 30 studs long. As for SPEC #3, all the pictures are on a blue surface that the government tells me is placid water, so I think it's in water. I am actually really happy with this ship, I am pretty bad at building nautical vessels, so the fact that this turned out so well makes me really happy. I think my ridiculous overuse of LEGO minifigures 3x4 stands makes it look really sleek and industrial. I hope you guys liked this one!
So, the orb hath decreed that such placid blue surface is not water, as water has studs, duh. I mean, everyone knows that water has studs. The great god-orb decrees it, and thus it is LAW.
This message brought to you by the DPRNO's Ministry of Propaganda. "We are not an Oligarchy"

General Black Wind, unfortunately your PT boat is in violation of SPEC #3.
"Your PT Boat must be shown in water, the design or style of water to be decided by the player."
What is not explicitly spelled out (but generlaly understood) is that the water must be made out of Lego. It doesn't have to be blue, it can be loose 1x1 rounds or a wall on it's side, or a baseplate but it has to be Lego. Apologies for the confusion but hopefully it is an easy fix. You just need one photo of the boat in water, just add it to your existing post and let me know you're ready for a review.
