The QX-19 Wyvern
Hello everyone! First off thank you for visiting. This is my latest creation, the Wyvern. Full name QX-19 Wyvern. It is a large troop transport/battle ship. The two propellers make for fast takeoff. It features a hatch in the middle to come out of. Max passenger amount is about 22. One of these can carry one squad, plus pilot and engineer.
About this creation

Front. ⬆I wanted a blue cockpit to go with the grey spaceship to give it a more sci-fi feel to it. I was originally going to use the cockpit piece from the lego city police helicopter, but I wanted to make it as original as possible so I used the satellite pieces on the side and some clear blue 1x4s, and I think it turned out well.

Landing gear. ⬆ (Retracted)

Landing gear. ⬆ (Extended) Besides the flimsy wings, I wanted to make it playable. That's the reason I added an inside. Sticking with that, I wanted to make the landing gear fit into the ship perfectly I decided to use the shock absorber pieces, so that they would fit into the ship smaller then they were extended.

Quoting MOCmunkey 4EVR I saw this MOC displayed at Bricks Cascade in Portland in March 2018, in the BATTLE area. It has several innovative features that I haven't seen before that I really like: 1- Nice use of the technic hinges to achieve the cool shape of the wing. 2- The landing gear design is very tight. They fold up so well for flight configuration that you cant even tell the craft has landing gear. 3- The interior is surprisingly large. Snappy design too with the double blue lines of floor lighting. 4- My favorite subtle touch on the craft though is the windshield on the cockpit. Nice use of the blue glass pieces, they way they are hinged and wrapped around the front of the cockpit. MOCmunkey4EVR

Quoting Sam Sanister Ah, clean detailing *and* retractable landing gear. Nice SNOT-work on the wings!
Thank you! The wings were the most challenging part.
