Happy Easter guys!
Those of you that know me from the old Lego.com gallery may have seen this before as it was posted there last year. I can't really post anything new because something BIG is coming that's using a massive amount of pieces.
This is a typical Jewish garden tomb from the 1st century (Although it is not completely accurate).
The story actually begins long before we see this tomb. It starts with Jesus. Jesus was a man, but also God. He lived here on earth preforming miracles and teaching people how to live. He cared for those people hated and ignored.
But the religious leaders of the time were jealous of the attention he was getting and wanted to kill him. They accused him of leading a rebellion and the Romans had him killed on a cross. They put him in a tomb. Completely dead he was.
But then, three days later, a mighty earthquake occured and he was risen, not as a ghost but as flesh and blood.
