Well here it is. I thought that I would do some close up photos of the LEGO lunar lander and its moon buggy. This model uses a large amount of those 1x2 metallic gold tiles and quite a few other interesting pieces and technics to get the general shape and color. The lunar rover does fold up to fit inside of the lunar module like it would have on Apollo 15,16 and 17. The ascent stage can be separated from the decent stage when it comes time to leave the lunar surface. This lunar module can be attached to the command module which will be featured in a different post. This model is also designed with folding legs in order for it to fit into a 9 foot tall (3 meters) Saturn v rocket that I am building and should get posted here soon. You can check up on the building progress on my main YouTube channel called BigPlanes.
AGAIN: if you want to see the full tour of this and the Saturn v rocket that goes with it than please be sure to go check out my YouTube channel called BigPlanes.

This is awesome - the best Lego LEM I've ever seen! Thanks for sharing! Do you have any photos from when you built it -- meaning any photos of it partially built? I would love to see how you built it and what pieces you used so I can try building this myself.
