Quoting Jack Sparrow I can't decide which version I like better! They're both pretty good models, and this is a tough scale to work in so great work on that! :-)
Thanks again Jack! I’m torn between the two myself. But I like the town scale because Speed is taller than the car for once :-)

Quoting Sam Sanister I never really noticed how much the Mach 5 looks like a combination of a luxury car and a race car. Both styles of vehicles *do* have smooth curves...
Thanks Sam! From what I remember it was derived from a 1960s Ferrari and a British race car. With a little DB5 thrown in.

Quoting James Douglas This is a great fun little build. Did you make those stickers yourself?
Thanks James! The license plate I made. The M is from the Lego Mach 6 Grand Prix set. The 5 is from TF Kingdom. He makes fantastic decals.

Quoting Zach Lucia Pretty good, but can you make a speed racer whose mouth is in sync with the dialogue? Excellent job, the lights are an especially clever design.
You want the impossible! Ha ha ha! Thanks Zach!

Quoting André Fontes The question nobody asked when you posted your SC version - 'But could it be even better?' - yes it could, and you proved us all that! Putting aside my appreciation for the SC theme, its tendency to make the models off-scale only becomes obvious when you compare to another built in the same lines but with better scaling in mind. While your previous model seems like a (really cool) playing model, this one is more of a display model that looks so nice next to the Driver X's car I can't wait to see! Great job!
Wow! Thank you so much Andre’ . This is an amazing comment thank you. I really wanted to build a minifig scale Mach 5 that didn’t look like a go kart. Not only do I have racer X ‘s car, but 6 other villain cars too.

Quoting gene 3S As sleek as the bigger model. Not comparing details, minifig scale rides are best around modular buildings.
Thanks Gene! That’s one major reasons for building this little guy. I really wanted to build a car that the Minifig was taller than.

Quoting Michael P I love this cute build! I especially love the hovering near the end!
Thanks Michael! It really is cute. I never really thought about building in 6 wide until now. All the new elements Lego is making now allows for greater detail than before.
