Truck 10 arrives in style!
About this creation

Truck 10 is also the first truck to feature decals.

The 1500 gpm pump and 300 gal water tank allow the rig to be self-sufficient on the fireground. A 2000 gpm TFT Monsoon wagon battery is available for rapid water.

Driverís side of the apparatus features plenty of storage for tools and equipment.

All but two of the compartments can open on this rig!

The ladder tunnel stores the many ground ladders Castle Beach tillers carry. Due to having 500í of 4Ēsupply line in the tunnel, a 35í extension ladder was removed to accommodate the hose.

Ladder tunnel open.

The officerís side also features working compartments.

The officerís side primarily stores firefighting equipment.

The compartment under the tillermanís cab stores his PPE as well as his tools such as a hook and halligan.

Close-up of the compartments

These compartments are much cleaner than the first version (LAcoFD Truck 105).

The officerís side of the pump.

Truck 10 is ready to serve CBX and the city of Castle Beach!

Brand new Truck 10 has arrived from KME and will be placed into service shortly at Station 10 - CBX. As one can immediately tell, this rig is different than the other frontline truck companies at Castle Beach Fire Department. The most obvious difference is the color scheme. While the other truck companies are red with a white stripe, Truck 10 is lime green with a reflective blue stripe to aid in visualization as it is the first due truck company at CBX. Another huge difference is the fact that this is a quint. As the airport has many terminals and cargo areas, the potential for fire to spread to a large amount of space in a short time is a possible scenario that may occur. Hence, all the frontline suppression apparatus are equipped with a pump and tank to assist with fire alarms. Also, Truck 10 will be the second truck company (after Truck 5) to be fully staffed and will be a separate company from Engine 210. In addition, Truck 10 stores several of the Holmatro extraction equipment in the bumper as the large first compartment was replaced by the pump.
