1950s German Fishing Vessel
A so called "Kriegsfischkutter", a Fishing Boat which was commonly seen in Germany from the 50s through the 70s.
About this creation

A so called "Kriegsfischkutter", a fishing boat which was commonly seen in Germany from the 50s through the 70s.

This one was modeled after the fishing boat of my grandfather, KFK 356 "Silbermöwe" ("herring gull"). The Silbermöwe was used in the 50s both as fishing and diving vessel. My grandfather and his crew sailed to sunken warships after WW2 to salvage copper and other precious metals from cannon shells and mines.

Quoting Anders T In terms of color and shape, the attention to detail is apparent. I see the dilemmas you had to work with. Especially the white triangle and upper curve at the bow. The detail of the masts and rigging is the icing on the cake. Making a boat like this is not an easy thing to do. Hats off to you!
Totally true. The bow was really troubling. Was very hard tor resist the temptation to use glue :)
