Here is my interpretation of the Tumbler batmobile from The Dark Knight. I am really proud of this design and how it incorporates the batpod into the model. Before anybody tells me this, I know that the two front wheels are supposed to become the Batpod's wheels, but that is extremely hard to incorporate in Lego. Anyway, enjoy!
About this creation
To start off we have a front view! This shows the front wheels and guns. The guns are part of the batpod. This feature will be shown later.
Here we have a side view, the other side is identical.
A top view, showing the roof of the Tumbler.
Here is the back of the build, and the big engine. I know that the actual Tumbler has two wheels on each of the back ends, but I didn't have enough tires in this size for that many. It doesn't look that bad in my opinion anyway.
An interior shot with Batman driving. You can also see in the center is the Batpod's seat.
Another interior shot showing the targeting computer. Also the interior has room for a passenger.
And now for the function that the this Tumbler is built around. The front hood lifts up...
And out comes the Batpod, ready for a speedy escape!
Here is an individual shot with the Batpod. I tried to make it as movie accurate as possible.
Here it is again without the rider. BTW I'm using armoured Batman because that is the only Batman minifigure I own.
A final shot with the Tumbler, Batpod and Batman standing by.
