A steampunk walker built for round one of a contest
About this creation
This is my entry into a mecha contest, it is fine r round one so expect more mechs!
This mech is called the B.F.G (Bipedal, firing gunpod) It is based around a steampunk theme.
This moc is unusual for me as it is one of my first mech mocs and first steampunk mocs.
It is also unusual as I usually go for a really clean aesthetic however I think this looks appropriately steampunky in its detail
Most of the build is based around what I think are steam roller barrels which I just realised is ironic due to this being "steam" punk. I based it around this part as it is an unusual piece and would allow an entire mini-fig to fit inside, two if one is on top and one on bottom.
The pieces were also perfect for the comments gs and allows the legs to be rotated a full 360 degrees around the body, other articulation is standard with its mixed joints. Weaponry includes a gatling gun/cannon which retains its stud firing function
I am also proud of the exhaust pipe which turned out great on the steam roller piece.
Overall the Walker is well articulated, surprisingly very sturdy and impressively fit a mini-fig
Thanks for reading, please leave your thoughts in the comments!
P.s. I will give the name of the competition in the comments.
Thanks I rushed it after school so it could be finished quicker, finished quicker than I thought.
Looking forward to seeing your entry if you decide your going to enter, you'd definitely be a worthy competitor against me!
