G1 MINI MEGATRON! (TRANSFORMS!)
This is my second upload after a short time figuring out how I would tackle a G1 megatron, hope you like the result!
About this creation
It's been a while since I last built my mini G1 optimus, mainly since I had set high expectations, here it is. My second upload, G1 megatron!

So in terms of gun mode he's pretty clean and sleek at only 2 STUDS WIDE! My only issue with the mode is the unfortunate yet necessary gap in the centre and hands at the back although there was no real way of avoiding it. The scope is removable although it can be left on during transformation, however the same cannot be said for the barrel, oh well. Now, the transformation is pretty simple although I couldn't really describe it; it's rather delicate transforming at times but both modes are sturdy! As for robot mode, much like gun mode it keeps the clean aesthetic, however the crotch trigger is still there; however I was never intending to remove it as I find it both an iconic and comical part of the design. As you may see in the images there is a gap behind the chest, I could not design it out due to the way lego hinges work. Articulation is somewhat limited since the transformation does not really allow any extra joints this is also due to size. It also cannot stand on its own with is why I put a 1x2 brick with technic hole in the foot.

Overall Id say this was something of an accomplishment, to get two clean modes in a two stud wide design, regardless of minor short commings, thanks for reading, hope you find some inspiration, and a special thanks to all the people who commented on my last design

BONUS:
I just thought I'd mention I did create another megatron based on my optimus, I didn't post it as I knew it could be better, it was practically the same but had a chest similar to Chris roach's original megatron and treads instead of wheels to make it seem more of a cybertronian tank. as I said, I knew I could do better and didn't post although I would recommend seeing my incredible optimus, if you thought this was good then wait till you see it!

Quoting Grim Block Your Optimus is well proportioned and flexible, Megatron is not as playable, but is still a great build! Adding you as my favorites
Thanks so much, hope I can continue to impress!

Quoting Jacob Moon's Mocs Nice job I can definitely see your build style in this mode the nice nearly stress look and the simple transformation is always a win great job
Thanks for commenting on my style, it's going to be important for me to keep it, Infact I think I'll be using it in the mecha contest more, that is if I make it through to the next round! Good luck to you too!

Quoting Joshua C. very neat design! I like your building style. It'd be pretty cool if you could maybe find a way to make his legs somewhat split apart.
Sounds like the incentive I need for a v2! Maybe I'll focus on my next character first though, thanks for commenting!

Quoting Daniel Ringuette Not bad, especially for a two wide design! Gun mode looks great (although the handle is a bit short). Robot mode reminds me of the original G1 toy! Nicely done!
it sure isn't as great as optimus but I'm glad people still like it

Quoting Daniel H. Nice! Definitely makes me think of the G1 toy.
Definitely, it was the best megatron to Base it off as it wasn't complicated so was somewhat easy to fit in a two stud wide design, thanks for commenting!
