This model was heavily inspired by set 4555 (Cargo Station) from 1995 and by set 60052 (Cargo Train) from 2014 combined with set 60169 (Cargo Terminal) from 2017.
The cargo pallets are mostly taken from set 60052 but shortened by two studs to let them fit into the outer container shell. Three spots are left for the containers from set 60169 (the two lawn mower containers and the yellow LEGO container are the ones I'm referring too.) to be placed on the railroad flat cars.
Since the last time I uploaded this, the rear swing-open section has been removed, and a crane operator's booth added in. The brick-built road has also bee replaced with a printed base-plate. This model is still missing one crucial part: the cable for the crane. (That's this part: www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=x77ac50#T=C )
As a side note, the sign on top of the lower floor is supposed to say CARGO TERMINAL in printed tiles.
The model features expanded interior details such as the staircase to access the top floor where the conference / break room is from the lower floor secretary's desk area. It also features a crane operator's booth high up on the roof.
The gantry and the crane itself slide back and forth to provide for truck to train (or train to truck) movement of shipping containers or raw materials by themselves. The gantry can move left to right (red arrow), while the actual crane can move forward and back. (yellow arrow) Unfortunately, the LDD program doesn't allow for it to move, but it will in real life!
The cargo containers contain a mummy's sarcophagus (why not?), a wheelbarrow, and a OCTAN branded fuel tank. The three missing pallets are the ones from set 60169. NOTE: Their are only spots for three of the four pallets from that set. You can always add another train car with a spot for that final pallet.
