Brick Mawr Truck 43
This beautiful tower ladder responds first due to all structure fires in the district.
About this creation


This tower ladder replaced an aging 75 quint.



The department opted to enclose the pump to protect it from the elements.



Ground ladders and LDH are stored in the rear compartment.



The tower ladder has a single 2000 gpm Akron monitor to provide an elevated master stream.

The bucket safely accommodates up to 1000 lbs of weight.


The city of Brick Mawr is a small bustling town located in the southeast portion of Los Angelego County. Brick Mawr Fire Department annually runs 5000 calls per year out of one station, Station 43, which houses one engine and this tower ladder.


Truck 43 is a 2014 Smeal Sirius 100 rear-mount platform. Enclosed in the first compartment is the 2250 gpm Waterous pump and two 1.75 crosslays. This truck also carries a complete Holmatro extraction tools, Paratech struts and airbags. For structure fires, the rig is equipped with forcible entry tools, Ventilation tools, and 167 ft of ground ladders.

Btw, a very nice fact I found out recently: One of my favorite actors is born in Bryn Mawr. It's Kat Dennings. What about you my friend? Apart from being busy everythings fine?
