Sorry for my extensively delayed absence. I'd probably come up with a bunch of really great excuses if I didn't have a ton of legitimate ones already ;)
Anyway, for this landscape scene, I wanted to work more on my rock panel technique (which is obviously non-existent). This mostly came from when I was watching The Hobbit a while back (don't ask why I have time for movies and not Lego) and drew a quick sketch of a multi-leveled waterfall scene. The curious part is that, contrary to what you'd think, this idea was not cooked up while Gandalf and the dwarves were in Rivendell with its beautiful cascading waterfalls and majestic cliffs, but rather during the point of the movie in which they're all hanging out in a burning grove of trees with an imminent fall awaiting them. The mind works in peculiar ways...
But I'm not here to talk about how my brain functions (because that would be daunting to all but a very sound minded psychologist), so I'll let you get on to the (slightly repetitious) pictures:
I'll bid you all farewell until we meet yet again. Since I'm merely transient in nature I'm leaving you all with my ably capable representative. Froggy, you're on duty!
Beautiful! I love the landscaping, especially the water! I think the rocks might look better with dark tan instead of regular tan, but that's just a personal preference. Overall, I love this little landscape, great work!
