Air, sea, land...
The Assault Team can handle them all!
About this creation
The Assault Brigade is a tentative title that refers to a set of six vehicles that are commonly deployed on all fronts of the battlefield to counter Shadow League forces; and to the group of soldiers who pilot them. These six vehicles consists of a AS standard-issued hoverboard, the AS "Interceptor" Small Attack Ship, a AS-standard motorbike, 1 combat ATV, 1 AS patrol boat, and 1 AS Anti-infantry Walker mech.
The AS standard-issued hoverboard is used for personal rapid transport around the battlefield and can reach speeds up to 137km/hr (~85 mph) using its small twin boosters. Gyro stabilizers built into the hoverboard give increased precision to pistols and SMGs fired while in use. This gives the hoverboard the ability to be used as a "run and gun" type of vehicle for soldiers to quickly take down infantry and retreat to safe distances in a short amount of time.
Meanwhile in the sky, the AS "Interceptor" Small Attack Ship is used to take down small-medium sized ships in the SL aerial fleet. The Interceptor comes equipped with 2x twin-burst cannons that are devastating against other small aerial vehicles; and are also capable of taking down larger vehicles if multiple Interceptors attack together. The Interceptor is one of the Assault Team's faster attack ships thanks to its "quantum-flex" gravity drive (a new type of booster based on the original "quantum-flex" engine seen on some earlier AS ships).
The AS-standard motorbike is the most commonly used vehicle in the AS arsenal. It doesn't have much use in terms of combating infantry and vehicles, instead it is used simply as personal transport. It is most commonly used by frontline messengers to relay messages along the battlefield. Performance-wise, it is the same as the Shadow League's motorbike (The only difference being the color of the two motorbike).
Next, the AS combat ATV is a variant of the AS ATV specifically made for use on the frontlines, it sports upgraded tires for increased off-road traction. It also uses a titanium body that provides resistance to gunfire. It also has space to hold small firearms and equipment.
On water, the AS patrol boat is seen commonly guarding nearby AS stations and outposts along the coast of the ocean and in large rivers too. AS patrol boats are not built for frontline combat rather, they are only capable of taking down small groups of infantry and vehicles such as jeeps and RHIB boats. A crew of 3 are used normally for AS patrol boats: 1 gunner on the bow of the patrol boat, 1 captain who steers the boat, and 1 operator who manages the patrol boat's communications. A guard soldier is sometimes added to the crew to protect the boat from the rear.
Finally is the AS Anti-infantry Walker mech. The AS Anti-infantry Walker mech (A-IW for short) is deployed to combat infantry in a variety of environments. The A-IW comes equipped with a 40mm double-barrel cannon that is capable of taking out large groups of infantry and are especially dangerous when deployed in groups. The Assault Team wanted a mech that can was both quick and deadly against infantry and therefore sacrificed defense for speed. While the A-IW has decent protection from the front, it is very vulnerable from attacks from the rear and from the sides. However with its speed, a skilled A-IW pilot can easily maneuver the mech 360 degrees to take care of hostiles.
The Assault Team Brigade shows off the variety of vehicles the Assault Team have in their arsenal that can be rapidly produced en masse to combat SL forces and protect AS bases.
The Shadow League too, have their collection of common air, sea, and land vehicles to show off.
