Star Trek Shuttlecraft inspired by the deleted scene of the film Generations (1994) when Picard is rescued from Veridian III. In the film, the Shuttle is a redressing of the model used in Star Trek V. The Generations shuttle is called Hawking, but decided to build two identical shuttles with the other called Penrose after Sir Roger Penrose who worked with Stephen Hawking.
