The lore for my world (part of it anyway)!
About this creation
In the beginning of time, three beings were created.
Garrazul, Ojosverdes and Corazonrojo. They were all very powerful, Garrazul had control of time, Ojosverdes controlled reality, and Corazonrojo controlled life. Together they shaped the world. But Corazonrojo did not discover his power, and thought himself to be useless. Though his brothers tried to persuade Corazonrojo that he was just as powerful as they were, he ran away and meditated in solitude. As he lay, he wept and sculpted forms out of clay. The clay figures sat and soaked in his tears as he slept, and the creatures came to life. These were to be the first beings, who would be influential in the world’s creation, being the template for all creatures. When Corazonrojo awoke, he realized what had happened.Garrazul, who had lived for an infinite amount of time, had seen that unending life carried madness, and brought the effects of time upon the world, making the trees grow tall and the vegetation lush. But it was still without life. His brothers had created a beautiful world, but one devoid of a soul. Corazonrojo went to his creations, blowing souls into them, The demons, however, refused this gift, as they had come to terms with their soullessness and did not want to be truly mortal. The demon adepts cast a powerful spell, creating a dimension that existed out of time, which they made their home. Every tenth year on the same day the little ones would congregate to a sacred place, on top of a large mountain, to gather with their creators. There, wisdom was imparted upon them. They learned of their heritage, and the demons learned the way of magic. The beasts mastered their soul, shaping it into nine separate parts. This meant that while they could never harness their full potential, they could live nine times longer than any other. The humans mastered their body, shaping the world around them into tools to accommodate for their lack of magical ability. This happiness was not to last. On a day now known as “Decimation Day”, an army of strange beings came into this reality stealing the souls of the creatures here. The demons were the only ones able to fight back, as they had no souls, and a tenth of the world’s creatures were lost forever. This grew into a conflict so large, the titans themselves had to intervene. The battle was so fierce, it became an entirely new being. Kraan, the destroyer. Kraan was unkillable; the only way to stop him was to send a psychic into his mind to shut down his invulnerability. But if Kraan died with someone in his mind, they would die. Garrazul dived into Kraan’s mind without hesitation. The horrific monster’s mind scarred Garrazul, making him nearly incapable of battle, but he pressed on. He fought with an effigy of Kraan in Kraan’s mind, waging an epic war against him. Kraan was eventually defeated, bound and in a coma, to never return again. The war continued. But in the final conflict, in a place now known as the Soul of the World, the leader of the void monsters came for them. It was a hard fought battle, but the titans won, locking the daemons in the void. Their victory came with a price, however. Corazonrojo took nine steps, which are marked with his essence to this day, and died in his brothers' arms. They lay his body in the center of a cave, from which all life now springs. The small hole in the roof of the cave shed light upon his corpse, as from it rose three knew creatures, great beings of incredible power, though they were not as strong as the original three. Every hundred years a new god would rise from Corazonrojo’s corpse. A prophecy, written at the day of Corazonrojo’s death, stated that one thousand years from his death, the Daemons would stir once again, lead by Kraan, to destroy the world. Only the Gatekeeper, a legendary hero, could stop them. And that day is coming fast……
