Here's the whole MOC, did my best to have the architecture look less New York-y and more Sokovia like
Another angle, I've been playing around a bunch with my camera so, here have some better quality photos :)
Ultron drones about to get royally messed up
Again I was going for this sort of vibe of rocky border to symbolise the floating rock Sokovia becomes, as well as lotsa broken stuff.
Ultron Drone 2345: Bill *bzzzpptt* what are we doing! There's no *bzzzppttt* way we can beat these guys!!
I used a bunch of trans-clear beams for this, it's nice that from some angles they disappear.. for the most part.
Ripped up side of the building
The Ultron hoard attacks! For Narnia!
So I posted a photo of that statue on Instagram. It's funny everyone thought it was Dumbledore and that this would be a Harry Potter MOC. Hehehehe throwing people off the mark :)
Ultron 345: Watch this Ultron 22 I'm gonna *bzzppptt* try spinning that's a good trick! That'll defeat them!
Ultron 345: (getting thrashed to death) This was *bzzpptt* a mistake!!
So I really enjoyed watching Age of Ultron. Despite some fans not liking it so much. Also I have a Battle of New York Diorama that's basically done. Just need to find the right way to photograph it is all.
All the signs on the local shopfront. Look you buy Captain America!
Roof detail... A water cooler or something on top.
What the? Same photo... dangit!
Ultron 97: I got this guys!
(Gets struck by Thor's Lightning)
Ultron 108: What a freaking di-*bzzzpptt*
Street view... or would be a street view if the street was there...
Really happy with the lightning technique I used here :)
You can almost hear the shzooomm!! As the Drones fly in... Then the crashes and booms as they get defeated :)
Smashed windows, smashed walls... but detailed Roof, this house could be yours!
Ultron drones all freaking out after Jim's death
Statue of... now who do you recon it would be? Sokovian Mayor? Actually Dumbledore? Odin?
Messed up Flag
Also I enjoyed how they did Ultron in the movie. I know some people didn't. I loved it :)
Teaser for the next AOU build :)
Fourth Wall Commentary:
If you're all like, whaattt! Ben where's the Bionicle, check my Instagram and my Youtube for WIP photos and Bionicle content. But stay tuned, new Bionicle is on it's way!
So yes that's the next one done and dusted, hope you like this one. So yeah like I said above expect more Age of Ultron builds to come and a new Bionicle that's currently half done, and yes my Battle of New York Diorama

Nice one man, I think I'm gonna enjoy this series of MOCs! I really like your fluid effects, the lightning and the shattered glass especially! I particularly like how you built the lightning around the Ultron drone- looks really dynamic! The damage up the building looks cool, though the rubble around the floor doesn't look as convincing as it did in the last MOC- it looks more like natural rock formation than it does torn up concrete. But that's a tiny nitpick- it's very much a brilliant MOC! Well done!
Lovely build here Ben! I love the amount of texture, but I think the best part is the lightning, and how you used that old clear rubber tubing piece to weave them together. I can't wait to see what you have planned next! Great work! :)
You liked Age of Ultron? https://youtu.be/trkoj933Mfg I'm only kidding, the biggest problem with it as a movie was that it was trying to be it's own thing as well as world building for sequels. The other problem I have is the Black Widow and Hulk thing. It seemed like it came out of nowhere. I still think the movie is good, but it feels too packed. To talk about the MOC, good choice pairing these two together. I'm excited to see what we'll see in Ragnarok. I like your damage on the sides of the buildings, I'm curious as to why it's not continued much on the facades, but I have no idea what your collection is like, and I know I couldn't get something built like this from my own parts selection. Cool stuff regardless of nitpicks.
