Lego U-wing fighter/troop transport
A larger version of the official lego U-wing fighter.
About this creation

This is my modification of the 75155 Rebel U-wing fighter. I made almost everything one stud bigger and changed certain things. Enjoy!
above the fighter has its wings out. In this position I have to tilt it to allow it to go through my 3' wide stairwell.

Here the "space monkey" shoots the stormtroopers down below.

through the lower windscreen, you can see the pilot's seat and the troops compartment, just like in the movie.

the pilots cockpit.

the front of the pilots cockpit, you can see the lower windscreen at the bottom.

on the other side, you can see the troop compartment. in the movie, the pilot enters through the compartment. the official set did not allow that, but my version does.

you can easily pop off the upper windscreen to access the troops more easily.

The troop compartment. the official set did not allow for the whole Rogue One gang to fit in the vessel. that really bugged me, so I made sure that my version can fit everyone. It also has that circle thing at the back.

The rear of the ship. complete with some rusted sections of the grill.

Anyone who has the Rebel U-wing Fighter set knows about the awkward space at the back of the ship, I turned it into a place to hold up to four blasters.

At the front of the ship, I kept the spring shooters, and changed the sides so that they bend downwards.

I hope you liked this build and please like, and comment on what you like, and what could be improved upon.

Space monkey: EEEEEPP!!! cool! I think that the lego version needs to be bigger, epecially so that the cockpit can fit two pilots and the bay can hold about 6 minifigures. More details would be welcome in their version, too. This is a pretty good modification! Maybe you could do some better photos of the interior.

Quoting Jacob Whitchurch Could you post instructions, or some pics of the troop compartment separate from the ship? I've run into the same problem with mine, and I'd like to try your design out. :)
I can't figure out how to make instructions for my builds, but all you have to do is expand everything by one stud.
