31070 Retro Roadster
This Roadster is an alternate model from Creator set #31070: Turbo track racer.
About this creation
A modern roadster with some retro style elements to it. Main inspiration was the Shelby Cobra, but it has some characteristics of Corvettes as well.

Of course it has opening doors.

When closed the doors have a snug fit. The exhaust pipes are visible on the side, just like the classic Cobra.

Everything open...

...And closed again, clearly showing all the curved lines. It looks a bit like a Corvette from this angle.

Under the hood is a V8 engine, but it's not clear from this photo.

It has a rigid chassis. Actually the whole model is solid and playable without parts easily falling of.

Thanks for watching! #NKubate

This set really has potential for cars much cooler than the original, - very nice!

It's a Cobrette! I've been standing in front of the 31070 box on the shelf thinking: "That could be the first Creator set I buy after a long time..." I really like the set and your alternative model is excellent. Great job! :-))

Well my friend you have outdone yourself once more. This is an Excellent Alternate to the new Creator set. My hats off to you. By the way, those sidepipes are ingeniously connected. So simple.

excellent job! One of the best alternatives I've seen for a while. The details are ace! I mostly loved the grid section.

Wonderful job here.... wish the exhaust were monochromatic.... but not your fault. Thanks for sharing!

Dear NathanaŽl, first of all, you (and specifically your Amazing Vehicles) are the reason for me to start MOC-ing using the parts of just one set. I love 'solving the puzzle', discovering how and where every single part can best contribute to a new creation. Thanks for the inspiration! Regarding this build, I like it a lot! I too wonder what parts are used for the front air intake... Looking up the parts list right now, haha!

WOW! That is superb! At first I didn't even realize it was an alt build! That's better than the three official builds! Fantastic work!

This must be the best alternative for this set Iīve seen, yet! I would really like to build this by myself and place it into my shelf!

I don't see Corvette, but what I do see is the Shelby Cobra Concept car from the early 2000's... Look it up...

This is really impressive alternative model. I can clearly see Cobra in it. The most interesting part of roadster is front grill - I can hardly imagine how you've built it.
