This is an entry to The MOCer Games, and here is my category:
The Road Less Traveled By
Read a poem and build a creation completely inspired by what you read. The name and author of the poem are required; the text of the poem should also be included somewhere in your entry, but a link will do.
This was a very fun build, and it turned out really well. The pieces for the black slit in the eye are from HERO Factory, and they made a very nice shape indeed. Last thing, here is my poem:
Sauron once went for an eye test
and found that he was very long sighted
when things were close up he was technically blind
which explains his savage temper
The Orc optician could not fix the problem
but suggested a monocle set up
so his lord would be able to focus again
on his goal of middle earth domination
Unfortunately the dark lord was destroyed
before his sight aid was completed
much to the joy of his enemies
and the annoyance of his doctor
'I'll have to charge him for that' he said
for not showing up without cancellation or anything
'next incarnation he should be more careful
he should have given me a ring'
By John Westlake
I would appreciate if you would make me one of your favorite builders, and as always, please comment and like!
Very nice. The overall shaping of the eye is pretty good, and the poem seems quite fitting. My only note is that the build isn't hugely detailed, but other than that, it's pretty sweet! Best of luck to ya!
