A few photos of my annoying cats and model boats.
My two fat cats and my Boat models.
About this creation

These are some of my Lego MOCs which I have uploaded, and these are the ones that are still together. The tugboat is not Lego, obviously, and the giant Fire boat is also not Lego. The 2 big boats are actually r/c, and they are my most favorites. The giant Fire boat is my most recent.

Here is my first cat, Rudy, which can be seen in the page for my PT boat moc. He always gets in the way for photo shoots since he likes rubbing on everything and wants attention.

Here are my two "photo-bombers" and the very first photo of my other cat, Chloe. She is very friendly but always paws around and plays with parts when I am building a model. Thanks for viewing!

Quoting James Y. This needs more views and likes. It's so rare to see the underwater motors. (Plus photo-bombing felines is a perk.) Nice collection.
Yes, I really wish I got more likes and views. I put a lot of hard work and a lot of money getting these models. Just for an example, the giant Fire boat is an $800 dollar boat! All of my underwater motors are all in working order and I have about 5 of them, all from Ebay. I also have every single motorized Lego City boat known! I also have to agree, the underwater motors are EXTREMELY rare, almost lost in time. I brought my collection on here to bring back the lost "treasure"

It sounds like your family branches out some as well then, with your older siblings working with food and you and your dad's interest in mechanics :-) Mechanics is interesting stuff, but i have personally never been any good at it. I usually say i'm not able to drive a nail into a wall without ruining both nail, wall and hammer in the process :-D About your engine: The fuel-thing does sound like a probable cause, engines are sensitive that way. Especially when the fuel is more volatile than the engine is set up to handle :-/ But i certainly wish you god luck in getting the engine fixed, i just hope it won't be an expensive repair! About the music: If you checked out the stuff i recommended, you will probably know by now that all those bands are somewhere in the death maetal-range. I understand if it's not to your liking, death metal really is an acquired taste :-D A couple of tips if you still want to listen is to consider the growling/screaming to be just another instrument - or to try and phase out the vocals to focus on the drums. About religion: So am i, but i just wanted to make sure as some lyrics from Morbid Angel is very Off3nsive to religious people :-)

Quoting Builder Allan Wow, thats a long time! The longest i've had a cold was three weeks, and that one developed into pneumonia :-/ About your ears: Yeah thanks, i can imagine :-D Interesting you mention occupations. In my family we are sort of torn between academics and the transport business (?). My mom is retired now, but used to be an assistant at a school for dentists. My dad (also retired) used to own a car dealership. And both my older siblings work in warehouses, one picking goods to ship, the other at mid-level management. Myself, i used to drive trucks and later worked at a warehouse but i am currently studying to become a teacher because my knees couldn't take the stresses of those occupations. I did see the MOC and commented on it too, it looks like it's a fast ship with those two hulls and accompanying motors! About the slang: That's quite allright. I am actually very good at english, even compared to the average dane! (most danes speak english rather well) Occasionally though, i come across a word i don't know or aren't sure about :-) About your engine though, i just took a guess based on what i know about engines (not a whole lot, but a bit) but it seems there could be several reasons to why it overheated. But i hope you can get it fixed soon, so you can get back to what sounds like one of your favorite hobbies :-) About the music: Well if you can live with music that's wilder than Slipknot, i can recommend Morbid Angel. Not if you're religious though ;-) They name their albums in alphabetical order (Altars Of M@dness, Blessed Are The 5ick, Covenant etc.) The best albums are probably the B through H albums with G (Gateways To Annihilation) and H (He!!fire) as personal favorites. Other bands with great drummers in the same genre would be Nile, Depths Of H@tred, Meshuggah or Blood Red Throne. There are plenty more, but i can't remember them right now :-D
Yep, I always hated being sick since I always seem to suffer it the worst. Occuptaions do go a long way into your hobbies, so to speak that my dad had about 5 occupations which were almost the same. He started off a little younger than me where he works now; as a heavy equipment/tugboat mechanic. He works on front-end loaders, bulldozers, haul trucks, agricultural equipment. etc. He used to collect models of equipment that he worked on since the company he works for sells models as well. My dad's main hobby is a surprise though, my hobby is different from his. He is into r/c aircraft, and as everybody knows, I am into the marine business with boats. We both enjoy them the same, although I do not fly aircraft. My mom stays at home. Both of my older siblings are in the food industry and both are chefs. Anyway, about my bike: I had figured out what happened. It was actually a series of factors: It was actually my fault. Our 16 foot fishing boat with a 2-cycle 60 horsepower outboard motor uses special fuel, the octane is much higher since the motor has a special oil pump and reed system or something like that. My dad told me that I can refuel my bike with the boat's gas, but I didn't remember that the octane is very high. It ended up making the engine run so fast that it leaned out when it started to run out of fuel. When an engine "leans" out, that means more fuel is getting sucked into it that normal. This means that the engine runs much, much hotter. This only happens when it is out of fuel or it isn't set right. This is common is the small gas engines in r/c cars, boats and airplanes. It was pretty hot out that day anyway, but I am sure we can fix it. (Where I live it reaches 95F almost everyday!) About the music, I can listen to pretty much anything, except for screamer music. Anything else I like. Don't worry, I am an atheist; I don't have a religion. Yep, I want to fix my bike soon!

Quoting Builder Allan Ouch, that sound like a loong time to have a cold :-/ I hope you're completely over it now. And indeed skills differ with theme. I wouldn't be able to build a decent Lord Of The Rings MOC even at gun point, while i do very well in City-MOCs :-D Sounds great about your present, now you have enough of those motors (and hulls) to make a boat race-scene! Too bad about your bike. Being foreign (a Dane) though, i would like to ask if by 'seized' you mean that the axle got stuck somehow? Because that might also explain why your engine overheated, trying to drive an axle that was stuck :-) About heavy metal: i don't know how you feel about extreme metal, but i could recommend some bands with great drummers if you like.
Yeah, I have never had a cold that long. As of today I am completely over it, but my ears are still draining. (Don't want to say too much, it gets pretty gross!) Anyway, Theme is a big factor to bring up when talking skill. As you can tell, I am pretty experienced in city/vehicle type mocs. One thing to mention is your occupation/location. For example, my family runs in the sort of "mechanical" phase where some of us are mechanics, engineers, etc. It all depends on hobby and interests as well! Lego and R/C is a great combination. About the present, I have just made a moc using them, check it out! http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/441184 Back to my bike. (Since you are foreign, I will cut back on my American slang) Anyway, It could also be the fact that I am actually pretty large for that small bike. I am almost 6 feet tall I have to stand up to start the bike. That also means that I may go over the weight limit a little bit. It also couldn't be that though, since the bike goes well beyond 45 mph or kph. The bike's rear axle got too hot, as of what I think. I did see smoke coming from the brake drum. The engine probably got hot since the tire did go flat, and it was about 107 degrees the day I rode it. (It's an air-cooled engine) Anyway, I listen to mostly metal and surf music. Very rarely old country. It would be cool to refer me to some good percussionists though! :)

Quoting James Y. Getting likes and comments can be frustrating at times. Some really good stuff is overlooked through no fault of the creator. That's why I started the group "Forgotten Gems" for those things that got lost in the shuffle and never got the views they needed. It's not a panacea, obviously, but I think it's helping. Honestly though, the best way to get responses here, at least as far as I've found, it to be active yourself.
I have been on MOCpages since March 30th, and I have always had a problem with getting views. I actually put some hard hard work into these models, and boy, do they get expensive. I just want people to appreciate them; although some people do. I do add my models to groups, they are in atleast 11 of them right now, but I may consider adding them to yours. Good idea! I am usually active whenever I can though, but at this time I am going away from town a lot. Thanks for helping!

Quoting Jeremy McCreary Cat and LEGO boats -- what's not to like? Ah, pets and LEGO! I shoot most of my MOCs on a glass table on the deck because the lighting's so good. My dog can be seen moving around under the table through the glass in nearly every MOC video made in the last year. She rarely spends time there otherwise. She also generally beats me to any LEGO parts dropped into her territory (the floor) -- usually with disastrous consequences: http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/434872
I love your post Jeremy! Very cute dog. Looks like you are going to have to create a chew toy soon! By the way, this is only a fraction of my boats. I may add my entire collection soon. Myself I am a cat person, but I enjoy dogs too. I especially like dogs that don't chew on my stuff though. :)

Quoting Builder Allan You certainly can! I envy the skills of some of the younger people on here. And you're probably right. While others may own some of those engines, they never incorporate them into their MOCs like you do :-) Good to hear that you're careful when engaging in those more dangerous hobbies, not all young people do. And yes, a rural area gives more opportunity to engage in certain hobbies than a town environment. In that sense, you're fortunate to live where you do :-D Metal is great! I also listen to some of the more extreme types, because even though i am 'old' i still very much appreciate the skills of some of the drummers in that particular genre. And good to hear you're recovering fast. I expect you to be completely over your cold now, since it's been a while since i last checked in here :-)
Yup, My cold lasted for a while, about 5 weeks. I am much, much better now and it has been a while since I have been on MOCpages. About skill, it really differentiates depending on what it is. Some people just build little cars while others build massive towers/ships. Nothing I could do! About those motors: Yes, not many people own them as far as I know, but recently for my birthday my parents got me 3 7899 police boats for about $50 on Ebay and I lucked out since they all included the motors, and they didn't have any corrosion. I have made a moc using 2 of them, I may add it soon! Anyway, my motorcycle hobby is kind of down right now. Yesterday I managed to completely seize the rear axle on my bike and for some reason the engine overheated. (I am a really big guy, and my bike is a small 80cc, maybe I put too much of a load on it) So now the rear tire went flat since a nail went through the tube. I am definitely not moving now! I am still into the hobby though. I get plenty of room though since I live in a rural (and extremely hot and dusty) area. Oh and yes, heavy metal is epic! I usually don't listen to it everyday, but I really enjoy it when I do though. I was inactive for a long time since I was away from town, but since then I have obtained a few more models.

Quoting Builder Allan Thanks! Hehe yeah we adults have had time to perfect our skill with the brick and the earning power to grow our collections :-D However, i only consider myself a decently skilled builder. There are others here that are just on a whole different level! People like Oliver Becker, Nick Barrett, Cyberfrank 2010, Blaine R. and Henrik Hoexbroe. Well young people here have their phones as a hobby too. Less so gangs, though we also have problems with that here. Other than that, i think gaming and socializing are the main hobbies for young people here. I do hope you keep your Lego hobby as you grow older though, MOCpages can always use another dedicated member! It sounds like a nice place to live but those dirt bikes sound like a potentially dangerous hobby. I'm glad both you and the neighbour's cat didn't get hurt. And indeed, The way Angel died was a sad ending for a cat :-( About the music: I have a very broad taste in music, but i mostly listen to rock and metal. Especially stuff (like Primus) where you can really hear that the musicians have talent and skills. And yeah, cats do things like that which some times makes us tired of them :-D I hope you have recovered from your cold by the way.
Most adults on here really have some great talent, but for people my age we can build great stuff as well. I only build small mocs, and they usually come out functional. Other people like Jeremy McCreary is like an upgraded version of me, so to speak. By the way, I am a one-of-a-kind builder on here, I am the only person on this ENTIRE website that uses the underwater motor. Yes, I have searched every corner of this website and I have not found one. Anyway, younger people really do have separate hobbies. People like me who live in a large area (Kind of remote) can have many hobbies that include motocross, Nitro truck racing, and stuff like fishing and boating. People who live in a neighborhood usually just fly drones but you know what happens next when one flies over a fence. I have pretty dangerous hobbies, but that doesn't mean I'm not careful. My old, worn out dirt bike (a 1993 Yamaha YZ-R80) Only goes at about 45 miles per hour. It overheats, the engine smokes, the inner tubes go flat, it leaks oil, but it's key to having fun out here. Anyway, Angel didn't deserve that. It leaves a pit in my stomach to know that people would do such a thing. About music, when I was younger I would sort of like country music. I still sort of like it today, but I pretty much only listen to metal. As of today, I am greatly recovering! My ears are still clogged but they are better as of today. I'll be up and running in no time!

Quoting Builder Allan I actually thought you were older until i saw how old you were when Furface died and how long ago it was :-D Well, i'm 41 and it still shook me when Rufus was hit by that car. With the other cat i was sad too but at least i had some time to say goodbye to her before she had to be euthanised. I didn't get that time with Rufus :-( For people who love their pets it's always a sad experience to lose them, but i guess that's just a part of being a pet owner :-) About your mom's Angel: People who do that to animals make me.. Furious! At least they were caught, so they could be punished for what they had done. About Primus: Great to meet a fan! They're not very known in Denmark except to a select few who likes to explore the more experimental types of music in existence. I really like them, Les is a beast on the bass! My favorite track would be Ol' Diamondback Sturgeon from the Pork Soda-album. I also really like almost all the tracks on Frizzle Fry and Sailing The Seas Of Cheese. Especially Tommy The Cat and Jerry Was A Race Car Driver. And that is a nice morning routine you have with your cats, i have similar ones with mine. Rufus used to wake me up when he was hungry so i could feed him, and the new one seems to be adopting that habit too :-D
Yup, from what iv'e seen most good builders on here are in their 30's-40's. Especially you! It's kind of a rare thing nowadays to see someone my age to have a hobby that doesn't include cell phones, gangs and rapping and all that garbage.(Well, more so in the U.S.A. where I live) I guess I just sound older since I have a very high vocabulary and I know quite a bit about mechanics. Anyway, I am sorry about the loss of your Rufus. I live in kind of a desert/marsh area in the middle of California, and in the property that I live there are only 3 houses. All three of us have pets, and there is a duck club near the back. There isn't a high risk that any of my or my neighbor's pets will get hit, but as I mentioned in my home page bio, I ride dirt bikes. I almost hit my neighbor's cat! I almost wiped out and one time I went out back past the property and I had a very rare encounter with a golden pheasant. It flew right in front of my helmet! Not to get off topic, but the way Angel passed away sure is disgusting. That's pure animal abuse. Anyway, I don't listen to just Primus, I also listen to Arcade Fire, Octane and AC/DC. I also enjoy surf music like Miserlou (Dick Dale) and Tequila. (The Champs) About Rudy's routine, It's the same annoying thing every morning!

Thanks! I have a really bad ringing in my ear and they are plugged but it's getting much better. I also have a sore throat. Not many bad symptoms though. It gives me a chance to work on my models a bit! Actually, I'm not too sure just how I caught it. Apparently my sister was sick, and on my birthday we went to San Francisco on the ferry (Very fun but it was freezing cold!) And I'm not sure If I got it from the cold or I got what my sister had. I just hope I don't get any one else sick. I'm getting better though!

Quoting Builder Allan At least the death of Furface is now at a distance then. Still, it must have been a traumatic experience at that age :-( It certainly is a risky affair having outdoor cats, and even though it doesn't eliminate the risk i have always kept my cats in at night or if i was not at home. The one i have now (i'm thinking of naming him Tommy after a primus-song) likes the outdoors much more than Rufus (the red one that was hit by a car), so i can only hope he doesn't suffer a similar fate. About cats and wanting attention: You know there is a saying that dogs think "the humans feed and take care of me. They must be gods!" While cats think "the humans feed and take care of me. I must be a god!" :-D
Yes, Furface passed away quite some time ago so I got over it. I was only 5 at the time, so you know it would scar me in a way. As of the time i'm only 14, so it would still shake me up if I lost one of my family's beloved pets. We never let our animals outside though; but Rudy likes to run out our front door sometimes and rub on the concrete. We watch him closely though. It certainly is a danger to let your animals outside, especially cats. When my mom was about my age she had a cat named Angel and some kids saw the cat outside and thought it would be "funny" to throw rocks at the cat and literally KILL it. Yes, the cat suffered extreme head trauma and later passed away. The kids were arrested and charged with animal cruelty. (They were about 18 regarding kids) Anyway, Good luck on your new cat! It's kind of a coincidence since I listen to Primus as well, (Devil went down to Georgia is my favorite) And I named a pet snake I had Johnny since he "bit the devil like a snake" Kind of strange in a way, I'm having too many coincidences lately. For example, when I got the giant Fire boat (pictured here) the Cordelia Fire Department also got a new Fire boat. Also, I am suffering from a really bad cold right now, but as of today I am feeling much better. One of my old friends also got a cold, but strangely I live at least 5 miles from him. (At the same time!) Oh and yep, you are right about attention in both cats and dogs. Every morning Rudy wakes up and chases me down the stairs and walks in front of me so that I give him treats. When one of my parents wakes up, and if I already fed him, he hides under a table or something and jumps out making them think that he didn't get fed. Yep, Cats are cute and all but can be annoying!

Quoting Builder Allan Oh sorry, i didn't notice you had responded to my comment here :-) That's a really sad way your Furface died, i feel very sorry for your loss :-( I can certainly relate to your wish to keep your current cats indoors. As i wrote in my comment on your latest build, i would have preferred to keep my current cat indoors but i can't because he was used to outdoors life when i got him and i don't have enough room to keep an indoor cat. And yeah, some cats are just too curious or want attention, which has them invading "those hoomanses's" projects :-D But Rudy does sound like a real attention seeker when he even rubs against a moving propeller! Cats indeed are something else :-)
That's a-ok Allan, yet Furface passed on about 9 years ago. She was an outdoor cat and they always are taking a huge risk. All of my family's current pets are indoor pets, including our turtle and rabbit. (Nothing will mess with my turtle, he's huge!) Anyway, I love our animals very much and don't want anything to happen to them. You guessed it right, Rudy is a MASSIVE attention hog. I recently got a new R/C boat, and he was sitting on the instruction manual and I couldn't read it. Sometimes my other cat, Chloe, jumps up on my dad and I's worktable and she rubs on EVERYTHING. We have to be careful since we work on the giant fire boat a lot, and we usually grease everything and run the motor. We had the exposed propeller running at full power (30,000 rpm!) and she jumped up on the table and we fired up the noisy water pump for the cannons and she ran off. Yep, cats are most definitely something else.

And yeah, some cats are just too curious or want attention, which has them invading "those hoomanses's" projects :-D But Rudy does sound like a real attention seeker when he even rubs against a moving propeller! Cats indeed are something else :-)

Quoting Sir Emperor Bob Flexapotatoduck the Spleen Lol, at least your cats don't bite you (even if it is out of affection :P) while you're sleeping or bricking! :P nice collection!
Thanks SEBFTS! Actually, the calico cat, sleeps with me and she doesn't bite me though. Although, the orange cat, bites my dad when he gets home from work since he has a beard and he just goes to town love-biting him. They're cute and all but they can get annoying at times! Here's an example of another photo bomb: http://www.moc-pages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=439865&id=/user_images/131561/14970481864

Quoting Sven ;o) A really nice collection you have. Especially like the two fur boats XD Really adorable cats ;) I have a rabbit who is such a cute guy with the personality of a dog XD. When I come home he's running around and happy to see me (yeah because of the food I have for him) and is following me everywhere. And he really enjoys huggling together with me or my gf. Never before seen such kind of rabbit :D
Thanks! I have a larger collection that i'll add later. Sounds like a cute rabbit! I actually have a rabbit too, a long-haired lop-eared one with blue eyes, but it's my sister's rabbit. My only pets are my two cats and my turtle. That rabbit sounds exactly like my orange cat when I walk through the door, since he wants his treats. My other cat, the calico, always waits until I go to bed, or, even better, wait until my dad gets home and we go upstairs into our little R/C shop to fix a few boats. (The R/C ones) She crawls up onto the table and when I'm asleep plants her fat cat butt straight onto my face.

Quoting Builder Allan Hehe yes they are! The one i have now will seize my lap when he pleases, no matter what else i'm doing :-D They do look somewhat alike, especially the face and the weight. Unfortunately he died when he was hit by a car some four months ago :-( He was 10 years old then. I also had a British Shorthair a year younger in orange, but she had cancer and was euthanised just short of six months before he died. I miss them both very much. That's why i have a new one now. He has a different personality to both the other ones, but he has his own charm and i have quickly grown a tight bond to him :-)
That's really sad, Allan. I used to have a cat named "Furface" (don't know what breed it was) and I saw it get ripped to shreds and killed by an attack pitbull when I was about 6 years old. That's why we never let our two cats outside. We love all of our animals in our house, especially our 2 tub-o-lard furballs. Good to know you got a new photo bomber around! Also, your orange cat (r.i.p little buddy) acts a lot like rudy. Whenever I am running one of the orange motors with the rudder off, he rubs on the MOVING propeller but he doesn't care. (getting orange hair clogged in it.) Yep, Cats are something else on MOCpages.

Quoting Builder Allan Hehe, cats! They are so lovely but can be extremely pushy when they want attention :-D My all-time favorite cat makes a guest appearance in the last photo on this -> http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/339615. A nice idea to show your complete r/c collection, just make sure the post is mostly lego so you don't break the rules of the site :-) An idea could be to add a bonus photo or two with them to one of your existing posts.
Yep, cats are something else. I saw your post too, that cat looks a bit like Rudy (The orange cat) when he was younger. I most likely will add my entire model boat collection, but I have at least 10 R/C boats and probably 9 LEGO boats, but it will probably be fine. I asked if I could do such a thing on the help forum and they said I could as long I had some LEGO pictures.

Quoting Builder Allan That tug boat is actually quite wide for a lego boat :-O Nice to see your whole collection of boats (lego and r/c) in one shot. And very cute cats too :-) I am guessing this post turned into a boats and cats-post because they were curious when you were setting up the shot?
EXACTLY, Allan! I was just getting a few shots of my Lego boats compared to my large-scale R/C boats. And yes, where you see all of my boats pictured, upstairs in my little "workshop" (where my dad and I repair our R/C models,) our two cats ALWAYS get nosy and want to see what's going on. Thanks for viewing! By the way, I have a lot more R/C boats, and I might picture them later. I probably have 6 or 7 more than my Fire boat and Tugboat. (The r/c ones)

Quoting LegoPredator ! Haha nice cats, I have cats in my home too and they always wanted to go on my bed when I was building :) The boats are cool, I have only two boats, fishing boat and police boat, but I love them.
Thanks Predator! Yes, my cats can be lovable but annoying sometimes. Most of my boats are MOCs, but the large R/C onces are bought and built. It's a good thing you like your boats!
