Well, I almost didn't have time to build for this round. After having big aspirations of building full-sized eagle platforms and brick-built eagles, life caught up to me and sucked away all my time. In the end, I decided to build a microscale/forced perspective scene of the eagles approaching the Misty Mountains, which are, by virtue of the Great Eagles living in its rocky crags, the Eagles' Eyries. I hope you enjoy.
Without the eagles.

Thank you very much for viewing, and thanks to the judges for their consideration!
Wow Mark, this is an amazing scene! The difference in and brightness of the colors of the Forrest and the background makes it "pop," and reminds me very much of Tolkien's paintings. I especially like the very tiny eagle, and the micro gandalf is a nice touch.
