Quoting Oliver Becker That's a fine MOC with great ideas, MH! I especially like the idea of the vault- construction! Sorry for my late comment, I was to busy in real life and with a little hobby too...;) You were a fine opponent! :)
Thanks!! Your MOC was awesome too! Good luck in round 4! :D

Hi there, I do like your build. It does not really look real to me. The structure looks like a green fort. The inside is cool, but could use a bit more detail. Not sure if detail is the right word... Greetz, Elio

Ouch, I have the deciding vote. While I am a fan of that arched roof, it isn't really a new technique and your opponent's build had the better "feel" of the Barrow Downs. For those reasons, he has my vote. Thank you for competing in the MELO and we hope to see you back next time.

Very nice build! It has quite an unique look! I think the grey door doesn't really fit the rest of the build, maybe you should have added a more organic looking entrance. The rest of the barrow outside also looks a bit angular, but it also looks very detailed, especially the grassy parts of it. I also like the interior, the arched roof is excellent! In the end it was close, but you got my vote, because you have the more unique approach to the category! Good luck with the last judge!

This was a really hard one. I was sad to see the Barrow Downs cut from the movies. The hill shaping is both really good, and not quite convincing, but I think you are onto a good technique. The inside was kind of bland, except for the arched roof, that is really good. In the end my vote goes to your opponent.

Nice, nice nice. Lovely barrow interior. I couldn't tell what the horribly disturbing hand was at first though.

Great job! I like the texturing on the outside, and the stonework on the inside! Good luck!

Fabulous work! The hill sloping is wonderful, and the interior is extremely accurate to the book. Excellent rounded roof as well :)

Awesome! That interior is really nice! I love the curved interior roof! The barrow-eight hand is also quite recognizable from the books... Keep it up and good luck! :D

Really great job on that hill shaping, and also the interior roof is fantastic as well!
