This is the first rendering of a new highrise building which is planned and will be built soon in LegoNYC. It's over 90 bricks high, has a LBG exterior and transparent light blue windows.
About this creation
Thanks for stopping buy. Updates or a complete new page will come during the work in progress.
Now I have to prepare the construction site ;)

Construction site with foundation of the new building.

Always add a number (in brackets) when I post a update. So I start with update(1)

Update (2) The first parts of the facade are in position, in front the entrance. Inside wall construction of the elevator shaft has started.
Now I have to wait for the window panels to arrive because they are connected with the facade.

And again a very very nice comment from my good friend I highly appreciate. Thank you so much! Yeah, I like it too because I'm always so excited and can't wait to see it in my city. And don't like empty placeholders and that's the reason why I do such things ;)

This is a fantastic WIP. I love how you set the stage for your builds that tell the story of the construction. BOAJDTAP. Now I get to go see the completed build without having to wait. YAY.

Hey my friend, depends on how good you are at working with LDD. If you have some experience I would say yes because it's a good way to a new building. You can play around with designs and ideas without being limited in bricks. I used it for this simple design and made some changes afterwards. It was very useful for the purchase process because I converted the LDD into Stud.io and was able to purchase all the parts I needed in the exact count without the need to count the parts by myself because you get a parts list. Hope you understand everything well and that I could help you a bit. Greets back to you and yours in VA.

Hey Sven, I was thinking about getting LDD to design some more Skyscrapers. Would you recommend it or does it take just as long to figure out the build in the moment as it does to design? Greets from VA Reid

That's the plan ;) Thank you very much for your very nice comment my friend. The roof is done now. Funny that I finished this one first before all other stuff XD But had the parts for it in stock. Now waiting for all the other parts to arrive.

Ground space in LegoNYC is very limited so it has to grow in height to get more living space for the residents. A fourth highrise could follow next year or in 2019. Still working on the plans ;)

That's maximising the ground space! I'm surprised the local council let them build that high ;-)

But not my tallest. I think it will be the third highest building in the city when it's finished. Thank you very much. Keep y'all updated :)

Thank you very much my friend. Can't wait getting the parts to start building. Was a spontaneous idea doing this one. But this might be the last building I can fit into my city. Now I'll start the work on the construction site. Have to move one building eight studs to the side to get the space I need.
