Yes, this is a Saturn V recolor /
MOD. No, I'm not crazy, and yes, this can be built in real life!
This model was recreated in LDD by Eurobricks user Stephan, which I then took and recolored in my red and gray color-scheme. I also added the opening cockpit from my older rocket model along with the two astronaut figures and one robot.
NOTE: Some parts would not fit on the rocket according to Stephan, and are left to the side in the LDD file. They are hidden in the pictures, but they are there, so be alert when building in real life. You have been warned!
The rocket by itself.
The model still separates into sections, but the top most one of these has been replaced, thus reducing the segments to three.

Cool, but I'm not shelling out $120.00 USD for the set. I'ma save my big spends on trains and Power Function stuff. :)
Do it up in NNF colors. ;) Bob needs a new ride, LOL
i'm not buying this anytime soon either, it's just too much at once. right now I'm trying to part out a five car train + steam loco and hoping it'll be under $100... the wheels might push me over that though!
