About this creation
This was made for MELO 2017
My incredible opponent and his amazing entry, good luck!
This build is made to be riddles in the dark from The Hobbit

I'm out of state most of this round, so I made this in one and a half days. It's pretty rushed (as you can tell), so excuse my rock work. But considering the amount of time I spent on it I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. This creation is fifty studs wide, (which is fairly large for me). And as a side note, I'm quite happy with how the first picture turned out

To God be the glory,

Carter

Hi there, A very good build. The rocks and the black water look great together. Greetz, Elio

Great entry! My favorite parts about it are the pointed rocks in the water, I also like that you didn't use SNOT for the big rocks, because although SNOT has become very popular along the years, not using it fits the rough look of Gollum's cave better in my opinion! You have my vote!

A fantastic build. Great rock work and really good job on irregular shapes all throughout the build. I think dark blue would have been better for the water. If I was not familiar with the story I would not have thought of it being water. But great job and you get my vote.

This was extremely close, but your amazing rockwork is why you have my vote.

Excellent! Good luck! The jagged rocks in the back look very scary in the first photo!

Awesome! I can't imagine how difficult the judges' decisions must be right now!

Your rocks are always amazing, even if you only spent 1 and 1/2 days on them! The only thing that is missing in the main photo is the Sting's glow (though I'm not sure it would be glowing since orcs wouldn't be particularly close... oh well). But it looks really nice. Good luck in judging.

Really nice. I like the rocks and that you made the water black. It really conveys the feeling of darkness. =)

Love the unique footprint shape. It gives more of the feel of the movie rather than looking like a MOC. Keep it up, man. :D

Love it! Great job on the rocks, and having a black smooth pond like that gives it a nice eerie feel!

Nice Carter! As always, great rockwork, and the black fits in the scene nicely! Good luck! I am rooting for ya! :D

Well done! I'm glad I shall be losing to a builder who deserves to win!
