Willy DeVille
Every brick's a beat of my heart... In memory of Willy DeVille (August 25, 1950 August 6, 2009) One of the best singers-songwriters in modern music, hopelessly romantic and soulful as less others. Maybe in USA not as popular as in some other countries in the world.

Quoting Jeremy McCreary So, Oliver, I'm going to buy 1-2 of his singles as MP3s. Which 2 do you recommend?
"Demaziado Corazon", "Every Word's A Beat Of My heart", maybe "Could You Would You" and "Miracle", but there's so much in so many styles... ;)

Quoting Henrik Jensen I had never heard about Willy DeVille, but I faintly remembered a band called Mink DeVille, and I see there certainly is a connection. Very amazing to see how well you hit the look of this great singer and songwriter, excellent work!
Yup, you're right my friend! Thank you so much for this so kind comment! :)

Thanks so much, my friend! I liked to do s.th. different: "You better move on"... ;)

Quoting Builder Allan I have to pretty much agree with Jonathan here. I don't know who he is, but you made a really nice looking buste of him with a great use of parts. The ears and the broche (is it?) are both very well done :-)
Thanks BD! As I told Jonathan: try some of his music, which is of many styles... ;)

Quoting Gabor Pauler In most western-imitating cultures all around the world - from Bollywood to Budapest - there is such a guy, as he fills an important and profitable market niche. You captured the basic elments of the styling ingenially. These are also miraculously uniform all around the world (maybe in North Korea there is a red star on the pink shirt...)
Thanks Gabor! Do you know his music? His outfit is a little deceptive, also I captured one style out of many others over the years: "It's a miracle!" ;)

Thanks Jonathan! Maybe you check YouTube and listen to his music, eventually you like it... ;)

Quoting Jeremy McCreary Had to look him up on Wikipedia. Great likeness capturing the showman side especially well, my friend. I've probably heard many of his songs but sadly can't name one. Will have to rectify that.
Glad you like him too, my friend! It's a matter of taste to like him as an "attractive" personality, but most of his music is spot on in my opinion... ;) I'll make some pics in macro showing his golden tooth, not coming good in these pics. Haha, he was a extraordinary lookin' artist, but he had also a golden heart and voice... ;)

Quoting Clayton Marchetti Outstanding job! I love the hair! I also like how you made the ears and earrings. His shirt looks awesome! I'll admit I had to look him up, but when I did I could see that your bust is spot on. Most impressive!
