LCBTC R2 - The Huns Attack
My R2 entry to the Lego Castle Building Techniques Contest! My category was "Surprise Attack" I decided to build the scene from Mulan when the Huns attack Li Shang and kidnap the Emperor at the palace.
About this creation
The all-powerful link .

My honorable opponent, ~The Maestro , and his magnificent entry .

A link to the video of the functions!

The young Captain Li Shang hands the sword of Shan Yu to the Emperor.

A mysterious hawk takes the blade of Shan Yu, but that was only a distraction.

Shang honorably defends the Emperor, but to no avail.

Shang is knocked to the ground and the Huns capture the Emperor.

The Emperor has been captured. What will Captain Li Shang do now? Watch the movie to find out!

The roof was inspired by a build by W Navarre.

The dragon.
This was very fun to build, one of my largest MOCs, and one of my personal favorites!
Good luck Maestro!

This was a VERY difficult matchup, but I'm going to give my vote to Sam. Both of you used great techniques and interesting aesthetics, but it was Sam's creative approach on the category that won me over. Very well done, both of you!

A very close matchup indeed! After carefully looking over both builds, I'm going to have to go with Maestro just because of all the great techniques and details. However, I really like the layout and stonework of your build. It looks really polished!

Your opponent has my vote. I like your choice of setting, and the stonework on the right side of the build is quite good, but the textures and amount of detail in your opponent's build, not to mention the crazy technical feats involved with making a burned-down house, win them my vote.

Very cool concept indeed! But your opponent has my vote. His detailing won me over, but this is still very cool, good luck with the other judges !

Quoting Doug Hughes This is one of my favorite builds of the contest! I simply love the design aesthetic, it's clean but colorful and the stark simple lines of the stairs are complimented well by the choice of the side texture :)
Thanks Doug!
